Title: List of ICOs that are considered financial securities
Post by: admin on October 24, 2017, 12:46:30 AM
Any ICO labeled as a financial security has almost no chance of delivering the project they promise, because sooner or later they will be followed by regulators, thus we will try to create a list of the ICOs / tokens to help investors avoid them.

Please state the coin / token / ICO in the reply, and specify the aspect that makes it a security, once verified, we will list it in the verified list below.

Verified list of cryptos that are actually securities:
check below, we will confirm later

coin GoPower .   TokenGo -  is a blockchain based business tokenization platform offering a fair reward to its participants who form a local community of actual and potential investors and cryptocurrency investment experts.

TokenGo allows you to create your own crypto currency without any complicated programming. This is only one of many platform features.
Potential of the GoPower token
The TokenGo agreement uses a customized modified DPoP algorithm (delegated power proof), based on the hybrid DPoS / PoW algorithm. Its specific features include the use of the special GoPower token, which is the basis for determining the priority of the GoCoin coinage. The more GoPower the Delegate / Miner owns, the more GoCoins he or she can get during the distribution.
Up to 90% of all released GoCoins will be distributed between holders of GoPower tokens.
Therefore, the main driver for the growth in the cost of tokens is the opportunity to participate in the production of GoCoin.
https://tokengoplatform.com/bonus/0x611439e3725968806b8647ac2013d38673e430b0
GoPower is of paramount importance in the distribution of GoCoins (GOC) - TokenGo's built-in crypto currency. Thus, under other equal conditions, the more GPT is TokenGo's participant in the account, when the rewards are accrued, the more coins he or she will receive in the account as a result of the distribution of the total amount of GOC produced by the coinage.

There is a basic rule, although I know it may worry many, it is part of the analysis that the SEC does, if it has a Bounty Program be careful.
Here I leave part of an article about it.

The Future of Bounty Programs
As ICOs rose in popularity in 2017, so did bounty programs. The allure of getting free tokens for promotional activities was something that appealed to a lot of crypto hobbyists. However, bounty programs have come under scrutiny from some financial regulators like the United States SEC. The reason for this is that bounty programs essentially encourage people to participate in a commodity that has a financial risk.
The main point of the SEC’s scrutiny is based upon the Howey Test and how it applies to bounty programs. The fact that profits come from the efforts of a third-party promoter (in this case, the participant in the bounty), then the bounty campaign constitutes an investment contract transaction. This, therefore, means that almost all bounty-promoted tokens are in fact securities, and are therefore subject to the SEC’s securities regulations.
The SEC isn’t the only one towing this line, with financial regulators in the UK also coming to the same conclusion. With the regulatory framework in the crypto market becoming more clearly defined, the bounty program may become the focus of more government scrutiny.

I do not post the publication and author, because I had saved that piece for a long time, but it is definitely not my own.

Right at this moment, in full release of our ICO, we had to make this clarification:

I think it has generated an understandable confusion with several issues, in fact, in this link you can make the request to participate in the service (Bounty)  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdOpci_lvvS1maMtTc7sS0awqrYnKCdiwYC4B4zAQFDDVsuPw/viewform (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdOpci_lvvS1maMtTc7sS0awqrYnKCdiwYC4B4zAQFDDVsuPw/viewform)

The issue is that we protect ourselves from possible regulations, we do not do the BOUNTY, as they expect or are used to doing in other launches, we directly, without competitions and without raffles or anything, only evaluation of the agreed work we pay directly the amount of MBYZ that is agreed in each case, for this is a requirement, fill out the form and agree with the marketing team an amount for the services. Here https://mbyz.store/rewards-plan (https://mbyz.store/rewards-plan) can find a little more information.

In the same way, and advancing a bit to what would be the formal launch, in this link you can find in the shopping section also part of what will be the real use of the token, to be able to directly buy goods through not only the page if not allied businesses. although for now we focus on the ICO and announce for now the entry to the Token Store exchange.

Thanks

MBYZ Team

It is surprising how often we complain about how governments try to act against cryptocurrencies, but we are deaf to the recommendations of what to do and what not to avoid being outside the norms. I insist, our ICO, if it will resort to help from the community for the massification of its knowledge, but not in the figure of BOUNTY, which is clearly frowned upon. We insist on the figure of the provision of services, with direct and clear agreed payments. Our goal is to be a tool of use and not a Security.

An initial coin offering (ICO) is a fundraising method that trades future crypto coins for cryptocurrencies which have an immediate, liquid value a good value.

I want to share my experience with ICOPools.io. The CEO Anton Moss (Telegram @tonimoss; gmail: [email protected]) and his company ICOPools.io offered us to attract investors through pools. Because his company does score and has ties with the CEO of the investor pools. The main condition of collaboration was the analysis of the company and submitting information on ICOpools.io website. According to a fact, which Anton told, it is the only way to attract investors. In cases, if it will be deficiencies in this analysis, the company can correct them to do more attractive for pools. Our company paid them $ 2,000 for this proposal. Anton promised to present our project in the minimum of five pools. We agreed to these terms.
The first unexpected news for us was low score (5.2 of the 10) of our project provided by ICOpools.io. When we've considered all comments and made changes, our score increased only to 5.7 out of 10, despite we have taken into account all their requirements. Numerous of our requests evaluated our project objectively were without the answer. We hadn’t the promised five pools. We got the impression that our company was not even shown to the pools. Instead of this, Anton asked to increase for the extra charge ($6000), because it is difficult to convince the pools with such low score. Unfortunately, Anton didn’t explain how the actual evaluation of the project can be increased after additional payment.
Initially, they indicate recommendations to attract clients (project evaluation, posting information on the ICOpools.io website), and then didn’t do further steps. All official accounts: Facebook, Twitter, Medium of ICOpools.io are not active. ICOpools.io gets money from customers, by selling inactive resources which will not give traffic or attract investors.
As result, we hadn’t any pools and any good rating that this company made for us.
So, we wasted our time and money. After research, we mentioned that a low activity in their official accounts. It seems strange that the website with good statistics( about 500 K visitors) has low activity in social networks.
Unfortunately, I am very disappointed in collaboration with ICOpools.io. The activity is misleading. Instead of attracting pools and earning a percentage of the attracted investments, this company earns on paying customers its analysis, but without any work with the pools. I will advise being careful with this project. Eugene

A list of security tokens would be really interesting.
This could also be of use for regulators to compare them. Different regulatory bodies are currently declaring the same token as something different. This should change

Please may we be the first on the list ;D.

Our token is called: HUGU

I know this thread is a bit of a goof bucket atm, but it will become important to be listed here for token holders who want democratised wealth but also a bit of protection (sorry for ruining the fun). You see, tokenomics projects are based on disrupting traditional business models and have true price discovery, based on the underlying fundamentals of the business. Regulation is actually very good in order to protect token holders, but it doesn't mean you can't have massive upside (just like most equity starts off as penny shares).

We're disrupting a $400B annual market, launching hiring services globally which gift the net placement fee back to the worker (as free bitcoin, stocks, silver or cash). On average we give people $3,000 of free crypto or assets every two years. With our fixed issue and a token price of $0.02, we would burn all our tokens after placing just 4,000 people in work. Considering the top 3 hiring corporations (e.g. Manpower, Adecco, Randstat) place over a million people each year, that means our token has to increase in price. Rising to $2 would only allow us to place 10,000 jobs in total, ever. $200 would only allow us to place 500k people in work in total. So, the more people we place in work and the higher the free incentive we give them, increases our token price. It's a security, unashamedly, but it allows token holders to have confidence in the project and it interests institutional investors because there is true price discovery. We were ranked top 10% by YC this year and have three UAE Sovereign family partnership offers and a VC offer valuing us at $35m. That's chicken feed once our token launches at $0.02 (or whatever the price discovery has become) and we increase businesses switching to "incentive based hiring".

Why not check out our site? Anyone backing our project may have the last laugh.
