If a government's decided they wanted to hurt Bitcoin, they must could deploy new hashpower that takes over the network.I think it is possible.

Governments are in a very powerfull position, they rule and people follow... they can ban crypto, turning it into a dark web activity... this would prevent escalation, at least for some years...
But I think they would only do that in order to implement the "cryptocurrency of the system", because in my oppinion, paper money has it's days numbered...

Some countries are banning bitcoins, there's a rumor that some country will follow this too. can the government stop bitcoin?
what do you think guys.

Decentralization is the idea, and BTC is decentralize so no one has the power to stop it.
if i have shop and start accepting bitcoin no one can stop me.
so governments shall adopt bit.

I don't think government can destroy Bitcoin because it is supported by strong community from almost all countries in the world. Bitcoin holders also come from various countries, it will be difficult to monitor and prohibit by governments.

many countries have many who are interested in bitcoin, but there are also those who do not want to accept bitcoin, not accepting does not mean being able to stop the running of bitcoin, because bitcoin is very helpful for various circles .

Its possible for example,to exert influence in a foreign country where Bitcoin is in use, China may aim to weaken or even totally destroy Bitcoin. This could be done by targeting specific users or miners for attack.

I believe it's possible for government to destoy bitcoin even though  it's not going to be easy as far as people have access to the internet.
For bitcoin to be effectively destroyed, there's the need to also clamp down on the internet ,which would be very difficult.

Not necessarily. A lot of governments are corrupt to the core, they have no interest in solving corruption.

in my opinion if all the governments in this world agree and agree to destroy bitcoin it will be very possible, but I think it is also not as easy as we imagine.

I guess the government only makes a fear but it never kills the Bitcoin. Bitcoin holders come from people around the world. It is also supported by a strong community. So, the existence will be always strong to survive and continue.

I think the government will not be able to destroy bitcoin. Because bitcoin is not related to government. bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency. and its future is quite bright for its holders.

I think bitcoin is very difficult to destroy even though it's a country, and I don't think bitcoin will be destroyed by the state.

Yes....it's possible for government to destoy bitcoin using their policies.
But it can only be effective if the internet is banned permanently,if not people will still find a way to run bitcoin business.

It is impossible to ban internet permanently. Everyone needs internet, including the government as well. This means that Bitcoin is rather hard to destroy. I still think that the governments will consider to accept it someday.
