it will be very good if Russia wants to set ico, and if many ico who use the waves platform will make the waves become more baggy in the future.

Waves is the best smart contract or token creation platform where non programmers also able to create the wallet but the sad thing is there is not much successfull ico launched on waves platform .Recently burger king in russia started accepting waves based token on payment mode . One more awesome feature is waves giving ability to create token non programmer with very low cost.

The future of Waves is actually a very great one. The problem is that Waves for now is like a sleeping giant. The Waves Platform, for example, is not that utilized according to its true potentials. I think there will come a time in a few months to come that Waves Platform will be at par with the Ethereum Platform. Waves DEX is also a good exchange site although there are only a few coins. The true future for Waves is not yet here.

Waves has a great future!  I am currently hodling some.  Smart contracts will be released very soon.  The price is very cheap compared to other projects that don't even come close in the development department.

Waves is a good coin and I think they will have a good future. cause they have smart contract feature now, Fiat Gateways, you can leasing them to get the waves and other coin and if a new coin want to launch into waves they always airdrop to waves user who have waves in their wallet.

Interesting to see I'm not the only one that is thinking about this. Not sure if I believe in the current crypto investment climate but I do believe in the blockchain. I was researching a way to find more info about the current cryptocoins on the market.

it is very good if Russia wants to do such a step, and I strongly believe that it will bring the waves to be better in the future, and I hope it will be as soon as possible.

First, we have to remember that Waves price in June 2016 was $ 0.7 per unit, and it is now above $5 per unit. Which means that this increment was of +600% in one year. Waves is a "long term investment" cryptocurrency.
Waves will enable people to make custom tokens and create their own cryptocurrencies (without coding) and then launch their own ICO to fund their projects. This is great and very interesting.
For these reasons, I think waves will be a big tradable value in the future.
