Title: What are your bad trading habits in cryptocurrency?
Post by: CebuBitcoin on September 01, 2018, 08:34:53 AM
During trading, I sometimes listen to the news or rumors that trigger me to buy or sell my crypto without verifying the facts. Also sometimes I tend to buy more on downtrend crypto in hoping that that was the dip price where in fact the falling is still on-going. These habits of mine should be correctly immediately or else I might experience more serious problem.

How about yours? What are your bad habits in trading?

Many bad habits are the same as you and many keep coins in the hope that they will grow.I also waited for the growth, and the coins sank even deeper.

Mine was probably holding on coins even if I see it starting to plummet thinking it will immediately bounce back.

My bad habit is sometimes I know what to do but fear doing it.. I'll hesitate just a slight second and the opportunity door closes.. also I think I sell at a certain price instead of using trailing stops, which just isn't really that smart.

My bad habit in trading is always to feel that the benefits I get are still not enough, in other words I am too greedy that everything leads to loss.

As for investments-now I try to look at charts less often and read news so I invest for a long time.So you will save your nerves and investments from spontaneous emotional decisions.

I think the simplest place to buy, sell, and store coins is Coinbase (and our tutorial below will help you get set up with that), but you can only buy, sell, and store Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash on Coinbase. If you are serious about trading cryptocurrency, you’ll need another exchange like Coinbase’s GDAX, Bittrex, Binance, or Kraken (and you’ll likely want to find a wallet to store your coins in). See a top 5 list of cryptocurrency exchanges and the Best Bitcoin Exchanges ranked (those above are my picks).

I think I will be right, 90 % of all traders suffer from the same problem - I call it the Hamster problem! It consists in the fact that everyone is buying what has already grown and waiting for the token to grow even more. This greed and sickness, we must learn to deal with it and your money will remain with you.

Emotions and excitement in trading should not be. It is more becoming to be like a game but trading is not a game. We're all here to make money, not win money.

My bad habit in the fight is not being able to hold myself back and when the price goes down I always make a cut loss so that the profits always stay away from me.

You need to learn how to deal with emotions and develop a trading strategy. Then you will not make stupid rash actions.

I have a habit of buying tokens/coins when the ICO Project is finished, this is my fault when I don't really see the potential of the token, whether the project will continue to develop their platform or will stop in the middle of the road.

Perhaps now is the best time to buy it after the end of the ICO. If you look at the statistics of recent events, almost all coins lost more than 70% after the ICO. This is the General trend of the market.

My bad habits when trading are lacking patience in getting benefits that cause selling panic and eventually losing money and all of that has become my learning to be more mature in trading

I didn't have the patience at first! I could not wait for the execution of the order in the end many times sold at a loss, although the point of sale put the right. Plus with my big school it's a trade without a Stop loss. I lost a lot of money over it. Now I do not trade without it!

I sold coins after seeing the coin price I had dropped below the ICO price by 28%, I panicked and sold my coins. Then I saw the coins that I sold and what happened, the price of the coins dropped and was worthless until now.

Nothing is too bad now. But I once made a mistake because I panicked at the price of the coin that I held down. I sell the coin, and BOOM !! Apparently the coin rose to 40% of the purchase price after a few months. This is very sad.
