Have a look on the map if there are any bitcoin ATMs near your location. Their limit is usually up to some figure (like 500 or 1000 euros in Europe or 500 or 1000 dollars in USA), but it is a daily one. They need to be 2-way of course, not just to buy cryptos.

Indeed, it is advisable to keep your tokens in your secure wallets like hardware wallets or have them scattered around in several paper wallets. It is also advisable to have some kind of antivirus or anti-malware program installed on your machine... to keep away threats that might get the hold of your private key.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: ICO Scam, What is The Solution?
« on: October 30, 2018, 09:37:23 PM »
I have read on other forum, where someone posted some ideas. One of the was (which I found particularly useful and interesting), that ICOs would have to pay some fee in % relative to their hard cap, which would be mandatory to post their thread on the forum. That is how, scam could be eliminated.

Hello, can you please re-audit my profile at https://www.twitteraudit.com/altcoinpromoter

Yes, I've seen many people switching to credit cards, coupons, paying with mobile phones, etc. But there is still something special about holding that "worthless" paper in your hands, isn't it? I would say the use of paper money will decrease gradually, but never truly cease to exist. At least not for our lifetimes.

Have you ever thought if one day people leave ICOs? I see from some discussions about this issue. They are discussing about the possibility about the topic. Personally, I think it may happen even though the possibility seems quite small. Investors may leave ICOs because of scam issues and many failed ICOs. They will buy coins or tokens listed on exchanges. And It may be safer way to invest in crypto.

My questions are:
1. What do you think about the issue? Is it possible to happen?
2. Is buying coins or tokens listed on exchanges safer than buying on ICOs?
3. Is ICO failure caused by many investors tend to choose buying tokens or coins on exchanges?

1. It is definitely possible as it is possible (with a really small chance) that crypto space will cease to exist as well. When there will be platform for the most essential things, ICOs will decrease in number since their products won't be needed any longer.

2. I suppose in this bear market it is, but it was not so last winter, where you could get x2 easily with almost any hyped up project. Wait till the price drops then buy on exchange, I suppose.

3. No comment here.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: KYC to airdrops is it good?
« on: October 13, 2018, 09:46:30 PM »
First of all, I think there are too many airdrops. There are practically no benefits in joining airdrops in this market. Sure, last year it was different since almost every project airdropped you like 10$ or more. Second of all, KYC for airdrop? For what? The time you spend doing it is already not worthy the reward.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Which coin is best to keep money now?
« on: October 12, 2018, 09:55:08 PM »
I would say some established infostructure coins or maybe in the future security tokens. Bitcoin is still #1 in terms of risky investment. If BTC falls, it drags mostly everything with it. So you can't be wrong there. For now.

I just gave up fishing for merit, because it was useless. I am participating in Jr. Member signature campaigns and that does it for me. I find other bounties that are also generous.

Investing into Ethereum when it was around 450$ and cashing out at around 200$. Rookie mistake and that is how they make money from gullible "traders" or should I say in general, the masses. Lesson learned though and it wasn't that expensive!  ;D ;D

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you agree with KYC verification?
« on: October 07, 2018, 11:33:49 PM »
I agree in terms of investing, like if you are an ICO investor. But only with huge amounts, let's say more than 5000$ dollars of investment. I disagree for bounty hunting, it is totally unnecessary. They earn tokens and hence money laundering or financing terrorism is not possible.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What makes a altcoin valuable?
« on: October 07, 2018, 11:32:20 PM »
I suppose it's the usability of the token (altcoin). Let's take Ethereum for example. A lot of projects are ERC20 based and there are a lot of Ethereum transactions every day, so it is very useful.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Why many projects are dead
« on: October 05, 2018, 11:30:04 PM »
For different reasons, actually. Some are exit scam and die instantly. Others try to struggle, but their token crashes and they give up. Some have inexperienced teams, which are the reason for project's death as you said. All in all, there are reports that say that 90-95% of projects die within 1-2 years of service. It is actually pretty accurate estimation.
