Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Notcoin On Binance 16th May.
« on: May 28, 2024, 10:54:28 PM »

I don't have Notcoin, but many of my friends have from Airdrop but the estimate is not more than $100, there are also those who sell to collectors at low prices and regret when Notcoin is listed on Binance.

if someone has a telegram premium of 130$ when listing it is very realistic to get if the price is 0.034$ and that is what I got, because on average those who have 10 million+ notcoin in game  will get 10k+ notcoin
If I get you clearly, the airdrop was done or distributed on ratio basis and not  in full as it is on the game which the players earned. That move was a good and smart one to salvage the price value of the coin and project because it would have been much lesser than this market price it is currently.
I like the fact that NOT coin did so perfectly well and it's emergence paved way for other projects on ton chain to spring forth. I would not be surprised the next project to launch on ton chain would supercede not coin project.

To be honest, the majority of the projects created a referral program just to grow the community since they feel it is beneficial to raise exposure about their projects. However, I do not believe their primary goal is to give them with knowledge since I feel that investors are the ones who truly make projects successful. The community plays an important role in attracting investors. That is why some projects are not legitimate since they rely mainly on referral programs to get investors.

Referal programmes are just thee to help strengthen and build up a project. I believe one ways which a project can appreciate their loyal customer or participants is it set up a referral programme door them because that aids the project grow and get the exposure they deserve and at the same time rewarding their members for their work done in also playing their roles in pushing the project forward in terms of publicity and recognition.

If you talk about projects not being legitimate, I will agree with you but we all know that referrals are someworth making good progress for projects in the Crypto space because in other for your project to Gian attention, you must create awareness and that awareness would not be done by you alone and come to talk of it,  the ordinary members are the workforce behind massive awareness on projects that is why you see that projects set up referal rewards for that singular act and to be frank with you, I believe that this is the major secret behind the new telegram projects and telegram is now gaining traction for both newbies and the old.
I sometimes feel like it's a domino effect. Yes, a real company would stand tall in a down market, but I believe the situation has changed now. Some projects did not rely on the referral program to promote community because they believed it would not help them attract investors. So, based on what I've witnessed, there are no improvements on them. In my opinion, they are correct, but I believe investors are also clever now; they want to invest in promoted projects since they can gain more. As with Notcoin and many other projects with referral programs, they typically attract a large number of investors.

In Crypto space, investors likely look at projects with large community followership. This means to them that such project is well  publicised to the awareness of the masses and this means business for them because they feel the higher the publicity, theore exposure such business gets which puts them in the right track.
I believe it was for this reason projects began referral campaigns and lots more so that they would get a larger community and followership to them as that is one of the convincing point to get investors in putting funds in their projects and while this is going on,  participants in their referal campaigns get rewarded per click on the referral link to get registered with such project.

It's true, patience is one of the keys to making us successful in the crypto space, apart from that we are also required to be consistent and all of that will be very closely related to the planning we have to have at the start.

If we are patient enough but we don't have a good plan, then I don't think that will be optimal either, and vice versa if we have a plan but we are not patient then that will be a problem too. So everything we have to have when we are in this crypto space.
That's true. If you are not patient, you do not belong here because you can not be able to take on the Crypto long walk of time. Only those who are patient enough to withstand the outcome of their investment irrespective of the situation of things surrounding the space can be able to overcome. It takes patience and consistency to achieve anything in Crypto. Like the sayings goes " Rome was not built in a day" likewise Crypto investment does not generate revenue in a day. If you must take profit, then you must be prepared to learn to be patient because it is only the patient dog that eats the fastest bone.
Yes, that saying becomes relevant when it comes to the crypto space, because in the crypto space it is the same, we cannot understand and take advantage in a very short time.

Maybe along the way we will be faced with problems that can shape our mentality well for the future. Everything we experience and everything we feel becomes very meaningful, and once again we must have enough patience.
It is just like a sailor sailing on the sea. The more the sailor encounters rough and stormy waters, the stronger they become. This encounter gives them experience that they could be able to share or pass on to others who wants to grow under them. This I explained is still applicable to Crypto. So anyone who wants to understand the Crypto space must be willing and ready to face the storms involved be it a trader, and investor likewise a freelancer too who is paid in Crypto too is likely going to face the storm in Crypto. It is just like that and to be able to withstand this, one must be patient enough so as to grow and if otherwise, they are not fit for Crypto and should stay very far to avoid situations that could cause them possible health challenges or anything.

« on: May 25, 2024, 10:26:51 PM »
When Notcoin came out, ah people dey mined am serious and when di announcement came say dem want launched am for exchanges na there the real hustle start but at di end nothing come out and finally it is suspended till 16th of this month. I never mine and farm airdrop before.
It is all over X, the testimony of some people who claimed to have benefited from NOTcoin airdrops.

To all those people wey dey lucky to gain from the airdrop because nor be all airdrops dey legit, many na fake and waste of person time. I happy for them because e dun give dem small money wey dem fit use to start to invest in other better cryptocurrency wey dey.
Na today? Because when they launched am for di 14th of this month many people/investors dey complain say di coin na waste of time and project company sef come announced say dem go stopped di deposing of the.coin in the exchange until di 16th of dis month.and dat go be today. So I believed.say if people get gain from the token den that go be today wey dem finally launched am to all the qualify exchanges. Well we thank God for them wey make am from dat token because many people been dey fear.

I  never actually hear anything like say the team been want to change the coin or so. Wetin I hear be say dem go list this month for exchange which  dem do and to be frank people really pop champagne for the notcoin matter. Bois hit Maga big time but now the price and market cap  of the coin don drop low. I still never hear the team talk anything about the price drop which we all know say Na normal  but make we just assume say that Na price corrections dey go on so which means investors can bag more.

Nigerian Languages / Re: Telegram wallet NGN P2P platform
« on: May 25, 2024, 09:04:04 PM »
Bold for you to think the Government will not go after the telegram M.A in-app p2p except it's kept hidden and the trade volume is extremely low. It's still a Centralized exchange and telegram can easily take it down. The wallet is not affiliated to telegram, it's a third party app.
Exactly, this was the same thought that came into my mind as I was reading the replies. Government are sick and so mean that they can also go for the telegram p2p to get it down, but before they will know, we go don enjoy am small, so that as we dey enjoy am, another p2p trade fit come out again from one place. God pass government.

The exchanges are doing their best not to give up so quickly; yet, they are also aggravating the government and delaying the process. If they made things any easier for them, they'd come back tomorrow and demand something different. It has been over three weeks since OKX Naira p2p was blocked, and the same message was issued to Bybit, but they have yet to disable their marketplace. Nobody wants to lose Nigeria's trade volume. These exchanges are not happy with the whole situation as well.

No exchange wants to lose Nigeria market as it is so far one of the largest active Crypto community in the Crypto space. They know what they stand to lose if they give in so easily and they know what they stand to benefit of they persist and that is the only option left with them.
I strongly believe that the exchanges sacked from Nigeria market space are working on other modalities for a come back and this time it would be an anonymous platform so sophisticated to detect it's origin.

Of a truth being successful in Crypto takes  patience and consistency to achieve.  As an investor, you should know that your investment would take time to grow before you start making profit from it.
Already, before investing, you should have it in mind that if you must succeed in Crypto, you must be able to have and exercise some patients because investment is not a day bargain and it must take time to get you the expected desire profits you longed for.

General Discussion / Re: Why is my life so sad? What should I do?
« on: May 25, 2024, 08:40:07 PM »
You control your own life and choose to be happy as life is so short to be full of misery. Problems will pass and don't be too attached to it as that will make you sad. Seek family support if you have problems, open up to them on how can you be happy because being open to your family will free yourself of worries.

I just checked OP last seen was August 2022, he even left before I became too active here but I think his description of depression is money. He is a Bounty hunger and airdrop kind of person and perhaps he came to the forum with the hope of making something but that time Bounties weren't active here and most of them turned out to be scam.

Many people are not happy and think there current financial situation will not lead the any where but some of us has been there, done it and beat it and life is better today, there is nothing to worry over something you can't control.
Possibly OP must have been through alot thinking he or she would get little relief here but the opposite was the case forcing OP to make this post. People are really going through life and hoping to get through it but the obviously, it is not going as they thought it would.

I wish OP could come back here to read through and see peoples opinions and maybe he could get something to hold onto yo get comfort. It is really terrible out there. The street is very cold.

Gambling & Crypto Casinos / Re: Have some fun, make more money
« on: May 25, 2024, 08:26:26 PM »
Generally gambling is a good way to have fun and to pass free time. It is not always the case to make money. Sometimes you make money and sometimes you lose money but most of the time people end up losing money. So one must keep in mind while gambling.
Of a truth gambling is for fun and not for profit making. Although some people see it as a means to earn and make profit which is very wrong but however, they take they way they see it whatever the result be. When gambling, it is advisable to use funds you can afford to lose if you are gambling for fun and the funds should be within your gambling budget so you do not gamble excessively.

If you have made up your mind to gamble, you should already know that gambling is very risky and a such you should note that it is always a 50 50 thing either you win or you lose.

Demo games should not be seen as same as regular games because they are meant for the purpose of making practices on gambling, so i expect its users to often play and do it over and over again in other for them to acquire a particular skill from knowing how to gamble by playing games, if someone want to get addicted, he may not have to waste time learning from demo games, once he places more priority on gambling than any achievement in life, he could e termed an addicted gambler.

Demo games are for trying the game and deciding if you want to play it and how to play it, and you spend zero money on it. You can even do this without being registered at some casinos!
Demo games truly are test games for prospective clients to see for themselves how the real games on the  casino are but believe me, you will play the games and win lots of many game session as you you master the game but believe me that is just a do game and not the real games.
Casinos are not that daft to put their games for you to just master them through demo and win them just like that.  So they will just attract the masses with the demo game but it is entirely different from what you think till you register deposit and play then you would know that there is .a big difference between demo games and real games.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: The impact of crypto on our lives
« on: May 25, 2024, 04:47:37 PM »
I haven't used crypto for transactions like you explained. I still use banks for transactions, because transactions in my country do not allow the government to use bitcoin or other crypto. I only use crypto for investing
So, why are you interested in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies? If you can't make transactions in your current country, you should also have difficulty exchanging or owning them. Countries that actually prohibit cryptocurrency transactions at least also have area restrictions in implementing their rules. If you can't make transactions in your country, you should still be able to use your trusted VPN and buy something from another country. Cryptocurrency never limits its circulation area as long as it is covered by the internet.

Banks can only stop you from buying and selling crypto but once you already have it, they can't stop you from making transactions and crypto payments using it.

It is a well known fact.

People can still be cautions about involving their bank into any crypto transactions, but once you're on the Internet, you've got nothing to fear.

I think OP seems not to understand how the Crypto space works.  Crypto involves a p2p transaction void of third parties which nobody can detect be it the bank or the government and her agencies. Open can transact anonymously with whomever he or she wants to without being bothered in any way.

Only what OP needs to do is just open an account with any of the exchange or wallet, use the p2p section of the exchange if OP country is available, them OP could transact or contact anybody who has the coin to transact with them and they should not write anything Crypto related on the transaction memo. That is it and nobody would know the nature of the transaction.

From your assertion, you are trying to make a general statement irrespective of the fact that you are shilling for your organisation because that is what I could sense from this post. All the same, Gracy running the affairs of a big crypto exchange does not mean that the females as are much into Crypto.

I  actually do not know about your country where you are from but in my country you hardly see a lady talking about crypto not to talk of knowing or having the knowledge about what Bitcoin is. If you see maybe just a few of them and still they are not too confident about it and would rather prefer getting themselves engaged with other activities rather than taking their time to know more about it.

I believe in the nearest future, with time, the development in Crypto and the current waves of telegram Crypto adoption the females would get along.

The government is just confused with their old brains and low thinking. What did you expect that will happen to dollar after all the manipulation in price for the value of Naira to increase in figure but not in the market. It will not last for long because only natural things last for long. The government should stop beating around the bush and confusing themselves chasing shadows when they know the real problem of the country but they don't want to solve it because of their greedy and corrupt mind. The value of dollar to Naira is not our problem, but bad and corrupt leaders is our problem.

This is what you get when you allow old folks govern a nation with young inspiring youths. I am beginning to think this whole dollar naira saga is a Kind of a intentional as one of their strategies to while away time distracting the citizens from government activities as they continue to loot our natural resources.
They are fighting Crypto and  accusing Crypto exchanges of causing naira devaluation how about the crude oil sales they do is it not in dollars? Or we sell oil atleast we should tell the international community that we prefer they buy in our own currency and see how it goes. Atleast this would show their seriousness in combating the naira devaluation after all we are the sellers which gives us much right to choose what currency to transact with which should be in our own naira.

But on clicking the link, the price changed to 1498 naira, and this change came without any pop-up notification, meaning if you are not vigilant, you won`t be able to notice the difference, and that would eventually lead you to sell your coin at a lower rate.
You have to understand an app to be able to use it properly, Binance made it easier for people to use their app, Kucoin requires a little more concentration but not so different from Binance.
Before Kucoin became blocked for Naira P2P exchange, I used it a couple of times and experienced this sort of thing, but what I can say about it is that the transactions never goes through because before you are about to approve it, there's always a notification that comes up to tell you that the prices have been updated and that stops the process.
I agree with your opinion Sir. Truly, one has to understand the functions of an app before using it otherwise they could make some silly mistake that could cost them their assets.  I have used binance app all through  before they delist  naira p2p from the app. It is very easier to navigate. Kucoin functions just like binance and another is bybit. I have not  experienced any asset threatening situation other than minor  issues such as delay in payment and incomplete payment. These are just my little experience but so far the apps are quite alright.

Nigerian Languages / Re: Social media account as KYC requirement?
« on: May 24, 2024, 10:26:42 PM »
And as for exchanges, you should know that they can't implement such an idea that doesn't even make any sense. KYC verification still won't go outside the personalities of a person such as d.o.b, residence, face recognition, etc.

That would be the last thing any reasonable exchange would do to wanting to force or implement such policy for their members to link social media handles to their account. I think that would not be feasible and would not go down well with such exchange that makes such a silly mistake. Unless they are prepared to suit down because they would end up losing members to another exchange because nobody would want to stress themselves with a particular exchange and policy when there are thousands of options out there for them to make choice.

Although I have seen few exchange with such option on user  profile dashboard section for their members to link up their social media handles or account. It is not compulsory but a free will thing to do if you deem it fit to do so.
Ordinarily, I would not advise anybody to try that option because doing that alone could breach your privacy and if that exchange gets hacked, your information including your social media handles would be exposed and you can be easily traced or tracked through your social media handle linked to the hacked exchange account.
