Solana seems to be a steady target to hackers and cyber security breach especially the chain. Unless they are quite able to tackle that issue of security, I believe the chain would be able to achieve much more success as the Ethereum chain. Although solana has a strong ecosystem. I think I agree with you, Solana will need more time become more popular such as Ethereum and BSC.

It is never possible because there are many errors observed in its algorithm which can crash like Luna at any time. A few days ago the Solana project was well researched and found errors but the project team quickly corrected these errors. So if there is not much loss at present, any kind of big loss may be faced in future.
