It is enough that we do research but it is no guarantee at all. The research may be wrong because of many factors. However, if we do it, it is already the right way. Most of those who are playing on degen or meme coins do really tend to find themselves with those coins which its hype is on the rooftop on which this is something that could possibly make them rich but since we are speaking about old coins then this is something that will really be just that depending into its utility on which if we do tend to look at on the current top #10 as of todays ranking then this is something that will really be composed of those old coins. Only a few ones which are new would really be able to climb up that high but of course only
a few would really be able to make it out and always think that everything would really be according to demand and recognition.

I still spend most of my assets on quality old projects like Ethereum, EOS, IOTA, NEO, TRON. I still assume they have x100 potential in this bullrun.

I have leave my EOS and IOTA holdings but yeah Ethereum and Neo that I still kept holding till now but also Bitcoin is my priority above all those coins , and indeed that old coins is still profitable but as long as we are investing in strong old coins and not those who have been known as shitcoins.

I believe on new coins due to change of buyers thinking and trend change. In past traders was loving to trade low risk coins having potential in long term and now traders love to take risk and new coins are generally more volatile than old coins. Secondly If we see the growth and new update of projects then it is clear that new project have strong community and regular updates. I love only Ethereum and Tron old coins which is backbone of altcoins. Our main goal is to make profit regardless of which coin we are investing.

Take note of top 20 coins on coinmarketcap/coingecko but not all of them are good like meme tokens like Shiba inu its just hype right now but it is not a good investment for the long term it can die in the future because it does not actually have any use unless developers develop a project that can use these token that can burn tokens once you use this token on that project.

If you are someone who would really be tending to at least playing it safe then you would really be definitely be coming after with those top coins or projects on which they have prove out themselves that they are better than on most projects in the market but we know that there would really be those people who would really be going into those shit coins
or to those meme coins on which they do know that they could really be able to make huge money when it gets pumped. THis is something that motirvates them to
make investment even though its risky but well there would really be those people who would really be loving on taking up the risks.

Yes in order to minimise your losses you should choose top 10 coins because they have surety that in future they will perform better than others and if they fall in price due to market dump then there is not an issue because we will have trust in them and one day they will attain their higher worth again.
Due to their success they have attained position among the top 10 coins therefore they will not become a cause of your failure if you don't break your patience.

Everyone has their own concept and most of them are choosing new coins because they can afford everything regarding their investment and if they are choosing new coins they will have searched about it because most of the people invest after getting Knowledge.

Old coins are good as having them on our portfolio, we only have to be wise in making selections on which one to invest and those to avoid, we can come to the realization that not all old coins are that best for us to invest, all we need to know is how to conduct making research about them, know the ones best for us, check their performance history and make investment with the little amount of money we could afford to loose.

Since the old coins are still alive in the market, they are definitely good and can be trusted. Especially the older coins that are in the top positions definitely have the potential to do good so I personally believe in them and am interested in investing in them. But we can never deny the risk of investing in cryptocurrency. Trust can only be given to those who are able to keep themselves in a good position for a long time.  So I think almost all investments focus on old coins as well as new ones.

Usually new coins make us gain profitable faster than old coins but has hype moment when its over many new coins difficult break out back to higher price. For old coins not bad make as investment or trading assets but need patience waiting slowly raising up with many old coins although as top ten on CMC.
I trade with new coins when listing on top market only but for short term, long term priority keep trade with potential old coin because guarantee recovery faster than new coins getting hype moment awhile before stuck as most lower price new coins and getting longer time with possibility back to higher price.

I think that having determined the goal, only after that you can make a choice between old and new coins. What do I mean, if the task is to preserve capital and possibly increase it, but not much, then the choice is obvious for old coins. If the task is to earn money quickly, then the choice obvious behind the new coins. Yeah, many old coins from bullrun 2017 emerged during the ICO wave and were able to easily raise hundreds of millions of $ and set truly impressive ATHs: NEO, EOS, TRX, BCH... However, the value they brought to users in terms of both utility and growth potential was negligible during bullrun 2021. The same could happen in this bullrun for old coins from the bullrun 2021: SOL, NEAR, FTM, UNI... They have huge communities, but whales typically want to choose new tokens to make it easier to accumulate tokens, manipulate prices, and generate as much profit as possible. Only a few old coins that are truly attractive in terms of community, cash flow, and new narrative continue to be chosen for pumping and stand out in this harsh crypto market.

I believe that when selecting tokens for their portfolios, investors should focus more on the profitability and growth potential of the ecosystem than on the age of the project and its token.
