You will get a rank description under your name, you will get rank jr. Member if already has 20 posts and then in 60 posts you will get full member, and so on.

you can also always check on your profile tab that gives yu all the info about yourself...
when you post, there is also a reference to your rank under your name, like agusali27 said

if you get post 20 then you rank up in jr.member when you get 60 post congrats your a full member and if you get 120 post you reach the sr.member and etc.

There are some requirements to rank up they required 20 post to proceed junior member and 60 post to full member 120 post to sr. Member and also hero member more than 120 posts.

If you reach 20 post you will be a jr.member then after that full member and you need is 60 post now you know if you rank up.

All you have to do is to click on the profile tab. You just have to check the rank under your name. If you have 20 posts, you move to junior member and 60 posts moves you to a higher rank. General discussion does not give you increase in number of posts but just your points

You will be know that you are promoted to the next level, started at baby steps then make 20 post for Jr. member and another points for full member if you get 60 points and then 120 points for Sr. member  then 500 points for hero the upper level. Check your profile if you are promoted.
