Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: The 1st time: BTC reached $50K
« on: February 16, 2021, 05:28:59 PM »
@hasyurt it may be that what you say happens, but for that we have to break the barrier of $50,000 in a "stable" way, after breaking that psychological barrier we would be on the hunt for $60,000, although that is still to come and it would also cost a lot of time and money break it, although with the help of large corporations (Tesla and others) it can be achieved in a relatively short space of time. We'll see what happens.

Ethereum Forum / Re: What is the future of Ethereum
« on: February 16, 2021, 05:16:24 PM »
I am fully convinced of the great future of Ethereum, but what is happening (and we are suffering) with the high transaction fees must end as soon as possible. It is very expensive to be able to send small quantities, and that has many of us with our hands tied unable to move forward. If we continue as before, Ethereum will have a future, but it will lose many users who change chains.

Now is when more institutional money and more corporations will buy Bitcoin, Tesla has opened Pandora's box and everyone has FOMO, although Elon Musk also helps a lot with his tweets almost daily. I think that after all these years, since the appearance of Bitcoin, now is when he has more eyes on his steps, and that attention will continue to grow as will the interest.

I also totally agree with what @Arkann has said. If that technology appeared, who would know who those Bitcoins belong to?. Who could know if those Bitcoins are lost or belong to someone who is saving them since the first blocks were mined?. I think no one could know that so to be fair it's better if nothing shows up.

The truth is that I do not believe that it will happen, that some "technology" will appear to recover the lost Bitcoins. There is an unknown amount, ranging from 3 to 4 million Bitcoins lost, if something were to make them appear again, how would it be reflected in the current value of Bitcoin?. I don't think the appearance of those Bitcoins was positive for their current value, and I don't think they will appear again.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: Could the doge be $ 1?
« on: February 16, 2021, 12:56:18 PM »
Can anyone explain to me where the billions of dollars are going to come from for a coin like Doge to reach $1?. Right now there is in circulation 128,400,480,665 Doge. With an unlimited supply of coins, where will all that money come from?. I hope some of you can clarify my doubts.

Hi,

as the thread title describes, my post counter has stopped at 2,000 and I don't know if it's due to a forum restriction or an bug. Maybe it's something to do with teleported, but I haven't read anything about it on the forum. I would appreciate it if someone could help me.

Thanks!

EDIT: Now it works again and is counting the posts. Sorry for the inconvenience.

@Pheonyx I think the same as you. I don't like traditional banks at all, but they are necessary. Many parts of each country's economies travel through traditional banking and I don't think that many governments are going to change that in a short period of time. We must also bear in mind that there are people who will never approach cryptocurrencies, due to distrust, fear or because they prefer what they already know.

Yes @bitbit97 I don't see any problem paying a $50 fee if the transaction amount is much higher. The problem is that it is crazy to pay $50 in fees to do a $20 transaction for example in Ehtereum.
This is causing a lot of frustration in the community, especially for users with less funds, who can do practically nothing because of the high price of transactions.
