it all depends on what you are holding. make sure you have something valuable and not a shit coin that will pump and dump most time. for me am only holding the top 50 coins in the coinmarket. that is my strategy.

I will say yes. Holding is the best strategy for good return but not always especially when you have more shitcoins or useless coins. Its quite difficult to get profit and its a waste of time and resources so I'll advise you to conduct research about the coin you want  before investing in order to invest in useful coins.
