Yes, I also think ethereum cannot beat bitcoin . Two is different thing. Ethereum is smart contract platform and more popular at many token project. Bitcoin is more popular and the biggest community. Bitcoin already be accepted at the several countries.

No...I don't believe Ethereum can overtake bitcoin. Ethereum is very potential coin and It is very popular as smart contract platform, has integrated many tokens. Bitcoin is more popular than ethereum as currency. I also see there prediction about bitcoin will be a single world currency.

Although Ethereum is the best altcoin but it is quite impossible for any altcoin to overtake Bitcoin either from marketcap or from popularity. too far from reality! I do t think it will happen BTC will continue to reign in the marketplace. no one can snatch the top spot from it. I'm sure it will take time for any crypto currency to replace BTC in the top position.

I agree, Bitcoin is the best Cryptocurrency coin in terms of price, popularity or anything else. Ethereum is indeed under Bitcoin in second place, but it is impossible that Ethereum can overtake Bitcoin. We see on Coinmarketcap, BTC and Ethereum market cap volumes are very far apart.

As long as you hold it, you will not cut loss, only the value of the assets you own will decrease.
Bitcoin's market cap is currently below 50%, we can't see all this easy, slowly but surely, the price of Ether will definitely go up and it could be as high as $10k, we just need to wait for more investors and developers to use the Ethereum platform for new projects.

Etherum is going to overtake Bitcoin I think that's a hard thing for now but many people complain that Ethereum is losing alot of transactions due to high level of gas fees in transactions but that doesn't mean Ethereum will not increase based on his own capacity but overtaking Bitcoin in price value for me nobody can fully predict that.

I could see a flipping of the market caps of BTC and ETH if the bull run resumes and we see all time highs again, and then followed by alt season once more and bitcoin dominance dropping... in that case this cycle I see it could be possible for ETH to flip BTC in terms of market cap but even then, it would likely be brief.

Currently the narrative around bitcoin and ethereum are different: bitcoin is seen as a store of value whereas ethereum is the largest smart contracting platform for building de-fi / dApps etc. So long as bitcoin remains as the dominant store of value crypto asset, it is unlikely that it would flip ETH. But is it possible that the world would begin to see ETH also as a store of value in addition to the "decentralized computing platform" that is? i dont think its possible for etheruim to overtake bitcoin becuase bitcoin is known as the first crypto currency and very high popularity among netzin and there huge difference bitween the prices of bitcoin and etheruim ....bitcoin price today right now is above 18000 dollar per 1 btc and etheruim price today is above 900 dollar per 1eth so you can clearly see that its nearly impossible for etheruim to overtake bitcoin right now
