Much better to do transaction with enough Ethereum for ges fee. It is also recommendation to save some extra Ethereum just in case the gas fee is more than expected for there are chances that gas fee is higher than we thought. I think not recommended to wait for the token to increase if you know that specific token will increase sooner. Anticipation isuch better than late.

I do not think eth will fall behind. This insane fee was charged by the eth network for over one year now but eth network didn't lose its users. Still, eth is the number one blockchain smart contract provider, and many new projects still using this network. If you are making a transaction of millions of dollars then a 100$ fee is not big deal for you.

I agree with you. Buterin and the entire developer team have had a long time to fix this issue, but after all this time they don't seem to care much. With so many teams switching to other faster and cheaper chains, I don't know if they would be willing to go back to Ethereum later, I think that is why they should offer unique features that no other chain had. If they then offer the same thing only with cheaper transaction fees, I think the developers would still use the chain where they moved their project.

No, that is not like that, the price of transaction fees only depends on the exchange if you want to withdraw Ethereum from an exchange. If you use MetaMask, Trust Wallet or any other wallet, it depends on the network and how saturated it is, the higher the saturation it implies a greater calculation process by the miners and a higher price to carry out the transactions. I don't know if this issue will be fixed when ETH 2.0 is 100% working, I honestly think the dev team has had a long time to try to fix it.

That was supposed to happen at the (full) launch of ETH 2.0. Going from PoW to PoS technology, transaction fees would be cheaper by changing the architecture. But it hasn't been fully launched yet, so the Ethereum network (the miners) continue to charge based on network usage. Some sources claim that the full release will be this year, but after so many delays, I think the smart thing to do is wait for the release to be next year, although I hope I'm wrong and that this year the launch is a reality.

Very soon the fee problem will be solved because Ethereum now converting their system form POW to POS. The point is for a more efficient network at lower costs. The network will be able to handle more transactions with less energy. It will lower gas fees and be better for the environment but either way you can still mine eth if you want.
