No. Bitcoin will never be a single currency in the world. It will become a digital currency that helps people around the world transaction easier. But this will not be going to be a single currency. There will be still fiat and some top altcoins for implement together

You are right I also think Bitcoin cannot be a single currency. Yes Bitcoin is very popular. This bitcoin is the number one coin in the cryptocurrency world. So it cannot be said that Bitcoin will remain in the cryptocurrency alone. In the near future we may see a few currencies in the market as Bitcoin competitors. Although now Bitcoin has no competitors. It's just my personal opinion. Sorry if wrong.

Im sure US will not let this happen of course they want to a monetary system which is controlled by them if Bitcoin will become single currency then it will become scarce and price will be at 100x from the current price now btc will be very expensive once this happens.

I think Bitcoin has potential to be a single  world currency. Bitcoin is so popular and going strong. Bitcoin has high demand ,many investors already buy more bitcoin and hold it now. By seeing bitcoin is limited supply and high demand, I believe Bitcoin price will rise.

They cannot make any other decision, because they only want to control, not prohibit. On the one hand, a ban on cryptocurrencies is unrealistic, because the black market for cryptocurrencies will be even worse for governments, and some control is still better for the users of cryptocurrency themselves, since it provides more opportunities for using cryptocurrency in everyday life.

They want regulation though, not a ban. Regulating cryptos doesn't mean they'd get totally banned. They'd probably get taxed though.

I believe a lot of people think there will be a common currency for the future, but in my opinion it is very difficult. Look at the Ero, although there are many uses it as a common currency but it still does not surpass the dollar
