Will ethereum overtake Bitcoin?

Bitcoin has been having major problems lately, but I am not sure that would be enough for Ethereum to overtake it.

Bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrencies, well, Ethereum is considered the king of altcoins, but since Bitcoin is the basis of cryptocurrencies and big players invest most of their money in Bitcoin, so I do not think that at least someday Ethereum will be able to overtake Bitcoin, but everything is certainly possible if big players will start transfering all their money from Bitcoin in Ethereum.

Except that which might not be likely because, in the market, there is the belief that Bitcoin has to lose momentum for Alts to pick up. I believe most Big investors will still continue to go for Bitcoin instead of Ethereum though that could change as you said.

I agree, Bitcoin is the best Cryptocurrency coin in terms of price, popularity or anything else. Ethereum is indeed under Bitcoin in second place, but it is impossible that Ethereum can overtake Bitcoin. We see on Coinmarketcap, BTC and Ethereum market cap volumes are very far apart.

I can see ETH overtaking BTC but it has to go PoS, green and probably implement a cap limit. Also widespread use of Ethereum dApps in Google Play Store and Apple Store.

If the price of etherium coins started to rise in the same way as the price of etherium coins started to rise, then the chances of the coin being pushed back were much higher.  Because at present the price of all coins is a little lower.

As long as you hold it, you will not cut loss, only the value of the assets you own will decrease.
Bitcoin's market cap is currently below 50%, we can't see all this easy, slowly but surely, the price of Ether will definitely go up and it could be as high as $10k, we just need to wait for more investors and developers to use the Ethereum platform for new projects.

Ethereum may well overtake Bitcoin in terms of capitalization and price dominance over time. There are already corresponding forecasts of specialists about this. Etherum is going to overtake Bitcoin I think that's a hard thing for now but many people complain that Ethereum is losing alot of transactions due to high level of gas fees in transactions but that doesn't mean Ethereum will not increase based on his own capacity but overtaking Bitcoin in price value for me nobody can fully predict that.

If Ethereum has as much supply as Bitcoin then Bitcoin positions will most likely go down, but we have seen there are a lot of investors holding Bitcoin, in the future ETH might be in the first place, but then down because we will see Bitcoin Halving happen every 4 years and things something else that will increase the price of BTC along with the market capitalization of Bitcoin will always happen like the acceptance of Bitcoin in every company and every country, will increase the price of BTC

We are seeing institutional investment in ETH that we haven't seen before recently, no to the same extent as bitcoin, but there is a trend of institutional flow into ETH that wasn't there before. I could see a flipping of the market caps of BTC and ETH if the bull run resumes and we see all time highs again, and then followed by alt season once more and bitcoin dominance dropping... in that case this cycle I see it could be possible for ETH to flip BTC in terms of market cap but even then, it would likely be brief.
