Has the market trend changed?

No further argument, today is DOGE day! DOGE price increases 100% in just 1 day!

I am checking the top coins/tokens that have gained the most in the last 7 days.

Unexpectedly, we see DOGE 470%, ETC 91.6%, VET 71.9%, BCH 63.9%, BSV, 63.2%, XVG 55.7%, XRP 53.9%, ZEC 43%, DASH 42.8%.

These 9/15 of coins/tokens are familiar to me from 2017-2018, they have a large cap, above 1B USD.

This surprised me, I think I will see DeFi or NFT projects come up and take the first place, because DeFi & NFT is still the main trend of crypto market. However, according to the results from CoinGecko, old coins/tokens with a large capitalization are receiving a huge amount of money from market.

As far as analysis and prediction is concerned, traditional coins/tokens receive cash only when market goes into the middle of a bull cycle. And this can be seen as confirmation of this. We will soon see tokens like TOMO, WAVES, EOS, XLM, XMR and especially ETH going into the x5 against BTC.

Waves coin has reached a new ATH this week and I think the altcoin season is still going on, I have seen there are many old coins in 2018 that have low prices now increasing over 200 to 2k%
Dogecoin was always my concern before the price went up like it is now and yes, the old coin/token season has arrived, we have to be prepared for that and don't miss the latest information about old coins that are on the list above.
I believe the amount of coin supply will affect the coin price, but coins that have a high supply are seen as having a low price then will increase rapidly when the time comes.

My only pain is that I've been sleeping ever since I got into crypto in 2016, been sleeping and I don't even know it, I just woke up, I never believed doge could ever cross $0.1 usd, but here today, it's top five largest crypto coin, a meme coin, a coin created just for fun, a coin not technologically backed in any way, the market truly is changed in a way and hopefully, the change will come up towards the coins we hold so we can make some good money too. Haha

In my opinion, currently in 2021 the market trend has really changed a lot. I saw crypto start to surge and continue to surge, I was afraid there would be a big drop in the blink of an eye. But while the price is still rising I don't want to miss this good opportunity.

Definitely for every pump there must be a correction, I believed some of those coins are like a sleeping giant e.g DOGE, TRX even LTC all trended few days a go personally I think coins that always shows no remarkable trending for a long time has the tendency to pump massively once a while another example is xrp, the aforementioned coins by the OP are on my watch out list.

DOGE around $0.30 was had to be a nice surprise for many holders today. Some of these gains aren't too much of a surprise because it seems like crypto has been on a spike all year in general.. Just look at how Ethereum gas fee's have been for the past several months..

I am quite surprised with the rise of Dogecoin and it can be because there can be no solid reasons behind this pump except that vague tweet from a very influential guy. Anyway, maybe the market is looking for solid and yes traditional platforms and they are given the chance to shine this time around. There can be a big possibility that other well-established coins and tokens will be having their pump days soon.

There will be corrections for almost the entire market soon. The most damaged coins/tokens will likely be the ones that have risen the most for no apparent reason, a simple pump and dump. Anyway, the market and the way people invest does not cease to amaze me, surely many are waiting for a new Tweet from Elon Musk to see if Doge is capable of reaching $1 .

Oldcoins receiving so much much funding is because of their reliability i think. because most of tge new projects now coming in the market only to make profit. On the other hand most of the old projects have their roadmap and they are working to make crypto better not to just sell and make profit.

The fact is that over time, investors will become smarter and will only invest in projects that really have a high degree of demand in society and in the cryptocurrency market, and not in projects that give fleeting high profits.

Perhaps market is entering the middle of wave 3, where traditional coins from 3-4 years ago revive with extremely impressive growth rates.
