I think it's because he is a wealthy business man who has achieved some great heights on earth, imagine being the richest man alive, every single tweet about a coin will be bullish, also he has millions of followers who are ready to follow his financial advice considering he's a wealthy man, recently he proclaimed that he is the destroyer of shorts,so people listen to him because he's a successful business who knows what best.

I think of a few reasons why Elon Musk's statements are so valuable to the DOGE & crypto community:
+ Elon Musk is very rich, is the richest person in the world. And according to the psychological tendency, people are more likely to trust the rich because they believe that what the rich do is correct;
+Elon Musk is famous for his innovative ideas: Tesla, SpaceX. The same is true for DOGE & crypto;
+ Elon Musk is a DOGE fan. He want to use DOGE as the primary currency for society on Mars. I think he wants to make more money from DOGE mining
+ Elon Musk is a crypto advocate, he also owns some BTC (according to what he said);
+ Elon Musk is the cause of many price increases of DOGE & BTC.

However, I do not expect much more price volatility from Elon Musk's statement, because when the token price fluctuates unnaturally, many people profit but also many people lose money when buying at ATH.
