[Guide] How to return to topic after posting

I did see the modify profile and all what I see here is profile, is it that the feature only appears on desktop and not on mobile phones? I am still using the analog method of going back to my post by clicking on "Attachments and other options" and " Return to this topic" though I have not tried desktop or laptop to check if it is there. Look at what I have on my profile.

Just look at left side of the image you posted where I can see modify profile under that look and layout also available to access.

I tried on my Android in the chrome the UI is similar to desktop and method to change is same as suggested in OP.

Look at the menu on the left: the section Modify Profile there has a point Look and Layout, that's what you need. Go there and find a point "Return to topics after posting by default." and tick it, then press Change profile button in the bottom of the page.

Thanks I just checked it out and got it. I was checking at the top of the profile because that is where the modify profile showed from the admin example and not at the left side of the profile. I have defaulted the setting. It was the analog method I was using but I have join the digital return.

To go back to the same topic after posting you can click on your profile option from there you can go to show post option and click on the last posted post link but you can reach the previous topic. If you find this too cumbersome then the last post you post will be at the top of the specified section and your post will be at the very end. Your task is to find your post by going to the last page of the first topic in the specified section.
