You better check out coin market cap seriously, Ethereum is ranked at number three for a couple of weeks and Ripple
already got the number two position of the highest capitalization in the whole cryptocurrency world.

Bitcoin as the main controller of crypto altcoins so even a rise to the altcoins bitcoin should have some movement to bring up the overall price. If you are patient enough to wait for the rise in ethereum, ethereum will surely rise in the future.
