Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: BENEFITS OF CRYPTOCURRENCY?
« Last post by kulkhan on Today at 01:31:35 PM »
Apart from being a digital asset and a short or long term investment. What are the benefits of crypto for you everyday, do you use to transact in general.
Thanks,
Investment to cryptocurrency some times highly profitable and some times it were loss. But if anyone invest for long time in good currency then he will be profitable i strongly believe it. Some times it profitable for short and some times it profitable for ling time.

If you trade for short time it will be risky for you. So my advice as a new member you should invest for long time. It will be perfect for you i think.

I just checked the odds for Heat vs. Celtics and the bookies really expect the Celtics will win with odds @1.09 ;D I don't have a problem with that but who else thinks the Heat will try to extend the series and keep the game as close as possible? Even though JJJ will be out for game 5, I still find the handicap Heat +12.5 @2.1 as generous.

Binance / Re: Binance CZ founder to surrender passport judge's ruling
« Last post by dwyane36 on Today at 01:26:23 PM »
Thanks for the information, I was completely unaware of what the process was like. From what you say, CZ cannot avoid jail time, but he can at least reduce the length of the sentence.

I guess it's the best deal CZ can get, but it still seems abusive considering he has always cooperated with justice. We'll see what finally happens when this is all over.

In the early years, CZ and his Binance didn't actively cooperate with the regulators, and he started to do so only after the regulators became interested in him and put pressure on him. On the whole, I would say that CZ was lucky in this trial because the judge was more or less loyal and rejected the main demands of the DOJ. In fact, the 4-month jail sentence looks like trolling by the judge as it's symbolic of that famous picture of CZ.

Gambling discussion / Re: Whats your experience with gambling?

Last January I tried slot games which I played with my cousin when we went on a vacation in our province. We played at Bingo Plus, a local online casino where we can easily deposit money using our local wallet called Gcash. My cousin was able to win a decent amount, while I was left losing all my deposited money. This was not a deposit money that was done once, but multiple times as I tried to at least win in the long run. Because of that, I have decided to lie low for the meantime in gambling, since I was also busy last February, I was able to take a break from any gambling activities. After that, I tried again recently this March 2nd, I went to a physical casino with my cousins to play slot machines, unfortunately, I lost again.

I plan to take a break again from gambling, but a few days ago, I saw an opening slot for this online casino campaign, BC Game which was a campaign being promoted on this forum. To apply you have to have an ID number on their website. Since it is required, I created an account. I think to myself that since I already have an account, why not try playing to kill some time?

I deposited money worth 500PHP or $9, just to try the website if it will meet my criteria in online casinos. I expected to immediately lose the money I deposited as I knew that this amount of money would only make me eligible to play at slots or on games where there's only a small minimum amount to start playing.

Guess what, I was able to play card games where normally a game with a high minimum amount to stake. On this website, specifically Blackjack the minimum amount to bet is 1.00 Php or $0.02. Because of that low minimum amount to bet, I was able to play it and I unexpectedly won by multiplying my deposited money up to 10x even after losing so much in the past month. I was able to buy my dream guitar worth $200, of course, I added a few bucks to buy it. I stopped playing and withdrew the money, I don't want to continue to bet the amount of money I've won.

Due to these winnings, I might stay playing on this website a little longer. I feel like my luck hasn't run out yet.
This is the story I posted in another forum last March, my experience in gambling since the start of the year. I said that I felt lucky that I might play a little longer, but guess what, after I withdrew the money, I had a continuous loss. But the thing is, I stopped immediately and didn't dare to deposit again to chase my losses. That happened this April, I have a consecutive loss by now. April is not a good month for me, and I decided to take a break in the meantime. This month, I am thinking of playing again, hopefully, my luck is with me again.

As expected, PSG opened up as the favorite @2.41 (Dortmund @2.9). Like the other semi-finals, odds are pretty good for both teams. I don't think this will be a draw but it will be close, maybe a low scoring match with 1-0 goal. If you're unsure of who would win, the odds for total score (under) are also attractive.

under 2.0 @3.9
under 2.5 @2.4
under 3.0 @1.94

So far, it is quite clear that ETFs for Bitcoin in any other country than USA failed to really make the market moves for BTC. Even before the approval and operation of ETFs in USA, there were already other countries that started their own ETFs but just like the recently opened Hong Kong market, they are not considered to be big players in the market all because of minuscule business volume, unlike the one we witnessed in USA. What is clear to me right now is that ETFs in USA is now becoming a major direct influencer for the price of Bitcoin in the global market and we can see how it can be affecting the asset in the next many years...where its ups and downs are inextricably linked to each other. Will there are those who assumed that ETFs in Hong Kong can be of big help for Bitcoin in terms of pushing demand, what happened is the opposite where its lackluster performance somewhat contribute to further weakening of the price of Bitcoin.

USDT Forum / Re: USDT is The Most Stable Coin?
« Last post by Peter90 on Today at 01:10:47 PM »
USDT Tether is estimated to generate $6.2 billion in net income in 2023.

Impressive

How do they generate that income?
What are their sources of revenue?

Transaction fees?
No because AFAIK they don't manage their own network.

So how do they make money?

Well, if someone from the start has prepared the bitcoins they own for long-term storage or long-term investment. And he is also in good economic condition. In the sense that he is indeed collecting bitcoins with cold money. So of course he will not be tempted to sell no matter whether the market goes down or up. And even good and bad news doesn't make them panic. And there are many types of hodlers like that. For example, recently we have seen a lot of wallets that have been inactive for around 10 years and have become active again. And those who have endured for 10 years can now enjoy the results of their patience with fantastic profits.
That's right, saving bitcoins for a very long time will certainly provide a lot of profit. If you want to save it for the next 10 years it will give you a lot of profit, I am sure that in the next 10 years the supply of bitcoin will run out and will make bitcoin very expensive.
The Bitcoins obtained by miners during each halving period will continue to decrease. And now large institutions or companies continue to accumulate bitcoins. and it's clear that those of us who let it go easily now will probably regret it 10 years later. But yeah, I also can't blame those who sell when they already make a profit. Because the goal of investment itself is to make a profit. It just remains for us to be strong enough to hold Bitcoin longer so that we hope to get more profits.
If those investors who have sold at an early stage have some profits, they have nothing to regret even after the Bitcoin price has increased further. They made a profit, however, if they are still unsatisfied, then that would really make them regret their action of selling early. For those who have sold due to the panic and have been unable to buy back at a lower price than the price of Bitcoin suddenly goes up, that is something to be regretted which is most likely a common mistake, especially for newbies.
Actually, selling early or still holding it is an investor's decision. If we sell at the price and target that we set when buying, that is already a good step. And it would be a shame if there were regrets due to greed. Because greed is a bad emotion, we have to think rationalistically. In order to be able to invest with good analysis, you don't need to regret it when you sell and the price goes up high. because that is part of the risk and maybe our predictions are not accurate

Meme Coins / Re: Notcoin MеМ Coins ( NOT )
« Last post by dwyane36 on Today at 01:04:40 PM »
Who has what expectations? Have you decided what price you're going to sell it at for 10 grand? I personally follow an all or nothing strategy. I'll hold it both before and after the listing. The same 500-1k dollars will not make a difference in life. But in the future, you can regret it very much.

P.S.
Again, not imposing my thoughts. Do as you see fit. Don't put the responsibility on other people.  ???

Since the NOTcoin team has delayed the listing too much, it seems to me that it's reasonable to expect a profit from NOTcoin in the long term rather than in the short term(immediately after the listing). If we keep in mind that the market is in a bearish trend now, I think the price for 10kk NOTcoins in the first days after listing may be around $50 or even less.
