Vitalik's Podcast in Taiwan: The Application of Blockchain in Democracy, Consensus, and Government Governance

Chinese podcast featuring Ge Rujun and Vitalik

Personal Introduction of Vitalik Buterin

Vitalik Buterin was born in 1994 and is a Canadian programmer, writer, and co-founder of Ethereum, the world’s second-largest blockchain platform. He had his first computer at the age of four, created an encyclopedia about rabbits at seven, was recognized for his talents in mathematics and urban design at ten, and was capable of complex mental arithmetic. By the age of twelve, he was already able to write games in C++. Between the ages of thirteen and sixteen, he was deeply engrossed in the video game World of Warcraft, until the game publisher Blizzard removed a key ability, “Life Siphon,” of his favorite Warlock character. This event profoundly affected him, leading him to reflect on centralized control and eventually sparking his interest in blockchain technology.

By the age of twenty-four, Vitalik’s net worth was already considerable, and he was ranked 22nd on Fortune magazine’s list of the most influential people under 40. Despite his significant achievements in technology and business, Vitalik emphasizes that every moment in life is precious, just like every block in a blockchain, and nothing should be erased, as everything is worth cherishing.

For Vitalik, his life experiences from birth to the age of eighteen were incredibly rich, making it difficult to pinpoint what was most important. Every event, every experience, had a significant impact on him, helping to shape who he is today. For listeners, his story is not just about the growth of a tech genius but also about a perspective on life and the pursuit of innovation.

Wow...this is a comprehensive introduction about Vitalik Buterin, surely one of the most known figures in the world of cryptocurrency and blockchain, second only to Satoshi Nakamoto. What is clear is that this man is really a gifted genius and it is good to see his immense intelligence now working for the industry we are in. Even at a young age, his inclination for technology and broad grasp of thigs can clearly be seen. Being the very man representing Ethereum, he is actually a very simple man despite the riches and influence bestowed on him. I am sure the future - a long, long future at that - will be exciting, bright, prosperous and adventurous for this young man whom we look up to as the leader in the crypto industry. I am really wondering, what would be the details we can see if Satoshi Nakamoto did not choose to go underground and just left Bitcoin to people he trusted.

you are right, imagine a podium discussion with Nakamoto and Buterin as guests!

I posted this interview because he talks about what ethereum can do to improve politics.
I'm more interested in how cryptocurrencies and blockchain can improve society rather than how one can make money out of them

Beside trading, what's the point of cryptos for ordinary people and businesses? (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=315042.0)

I like the fact that he doesn't sell his product as a way to make money but as a way to improve politics.
Nakamoto would have done the same.
These people are visionaries

I think you have given good information about Vitalik Buterin In your thread. He is truly a genius. He created Ethereum, which is now the second most important cryptocurrency after Bitcoin. It is really nice to see that he created Ethereum because he didn't like the centralized system of the world of Warcraft.

In fact, I believe that it was a good thing that he played that game only because of the centralized system of that game, he created Ethereum, which is a great gift for crypto lovers. So I believe everything happens for good. Bitcoin was created by Satoshi Nakamoto, who is anonymous. But on the other hand, Vitalik created Ethereum and he is still  part of the Crypto community.

It is the first time that I know the details of his life. I did not think that he was obsessed with the game World of Warcraft, which was the reason for his knowledge of Blockchain and then his contribution to the development of Ethereum. I listened to some of his dialogue sessions and some of the podcasts. tomorrow I will play it and will update this.

The World of Warcraft game is a very legendary game in the past, many who played this game have now switched to Dota 2. Apart from this game, at least Vitalik Buterin's logic is very advanced and has very good potential and fortunately Vitalik Buterin is also an expert. in the field of computer programming so it was very easy for him to channel his hobby and become the big Ethereum developer he is today.

"Host: Indeed, your Chinese is very fluent. Our election involved three sets of candidates. Is the U.S. election also a three-way situation?"

... Buterin speaks fluent Chinese :o
Does he have a talent for languages too?
