Bitcoin is the first and successful cryptocurrency which has gained much trust on the crypto market. Understanding the market very well, one could tell the incredible works on Bitcoin on the market and not to criticize it in anyway. For other coin to replace Bitcoin on the first position will take some magic as Bitcoin is really performing.

bitcoin is the first crypto that is able to penetrate all countries, the struggle of bitcoin to reach its peak is not short, especially the many positive effects that can be obtained from bitcoin, so it is very difficult for anyone to replace it

I think eventually something can replace it as #1 but it'll probably always be a store of value asset coin.  There's so much trust behind it and big money in BTC that isn't just going to disappear.

replacing the position of the bitcoin is not easy, because of the bitcoin is strong enough to defend its position now.  Although we don't know how future developments, like me the most important is cryptocurrency still growing, healthy, and gives a lot of advantages.

Bitcoin still the king of market.Nothing can defeat it without bit capital. Here in crypto currency market capital play a great rule. Still we can keep hope on BTC.

I think bitcoin cash and ethereum will replace bitcoin. They are potiential coun and doing well on market on this year.

We don't know yet. But we know that bitcoin is the first crypto influence other coins grown today, even if this coins on the top, many coins that fresh and well established that can replace any coins it depends by teamwork and brilliant ideas. For now bitcoin is still bitcoin we cannot change the facts that is able to penetrate all over the world.

Bitcoin is the king of Cryptocurrency, although many people predict Ethereum is an altcoin that will replace Btc. but to me, it could not be. Bitcoin is too strong to beat, Bitcoin will remain the king of Cryptocurrency, forever.

Bitcoin, being the father of all cryptos, has gain a high level of acceptance than any other altcoins in the crypto market. Many have predicted Ethereum to overtake bitcoin. Even though everything is possible in the crypto world, I don’t see this happening any moment soon or even any other altcoin. Bitcoin is really gonna lead for long.

I perfectly agree with you. We see several others claiming Eth may overtake Btc but I think it is as a result of poor understanding of the market.

I think the market has set it out clearly that Bitcoin still holds the power to lead Cryptos to a revolution. With the recent increase in Bitcoin price it is seen that many cryptics and fears with the crypto market has toned down.
With all said, I think it will be hard for the market so sustain without Bitcoin. That's is the reason why it will and must remain in that position until maybe things change in the future.

I dont think that there's a coin thats going to replace Bitcoin today or in the future. Bitcoin is the face of cryptocurrency and the mother. So it is very hard to replace it.

It is actually difficult to replace the mother or the original ever in crypto. If there will have altcoins to do it I think it would be from bitcoin ecosystem also. Maybe the upgrading of bitcoin is also the time to replace it.  ;D

In my opinion, Ethereum will replace bitcoin. Ethereum is very potential and more valuable now. It is smart contract.

I dont think so if there is altcoin to be replace by bitcoin now a days or someday,but the popularity of bitcoin many people were going to be interest with, in that that case many investor can take the change to make thier own coin to be put in the market if thier platform and roadmap are so usable  to our in every country there is posibility like ethereum second place to bitcoin.

I think Every thing is possible to happen. Bitcoin cash and ethereum have potential to replace Bitcoin.

I myself am not convinced that there is another coin capable of competing with bitcoin because to the high of exchange rate of bitcoin to make technical other coin becomes difficult to compete until whenever.

In my opinion, Bitcoin cash will replace bitcoin at the coming future. It is more potential tha BTC. It is my opinion.

Bitcoin is in a good position that makes all altcoins impossible to them to replace bitcoin. If there will be altcoin in the near future that will replace bitcoin that will be the supreme one that can perform more than bitcoin did.

as time went on it I don't think there will be. whereas time goes by coin-coin will evolve, these stages construct along with the growing number of requests and the number of visitors from crypto this will trigger the growth of coin that can compete with BTC.

For now, I think no other coin could replace bitcoin because of its high market value and still good for longterm investment. If there's any coin that can dethrone bitcoin, it must be better than what bitcoin had successfully achieved and done.

you should have tell us what is the reason behind it, ?
lately their nodes are dying,their network is crowded and their fees are higher compared to Bitcoin itself.
it is totally impossible for ETH to overtake Bitcoin position right now!

I think no coins can replace BTC. BTC has special value and as the first crypto currency. The price is also the highest among others. It is difficult to reach by others.

Yes I think there is several potential coin like ethereum, EOS and NEO. They can replace bitcoin at the future.

I never thought that there would be another coin that would replace Bitcoin, Bitcoin is a digital Cryptocurrency coin that most people know. Apart from being best known, Bitcoin is also the most favored, it's all because Bitcoin is the first coin of Cryptocurrency, the hardest coin fighting for Cryptocurrency, and it's certainly worth the Bitcoin to have the highest value.

Bitcoin may well be hard to replace as of now because of its market capitalization and towering head start in name recognition. But everything is possible in crypto world. There were a few altcoins that were most likely to take over the said "king". I always feel that ethereum has all what it takes to dethrone bitcoin. With a very much determined developer team, decentralized, faster transaction speed and a flexible smart contract platform to name a few. Nobody actually knows what the future may hold.

I do not believed  there is a coin going to replace BTC because as far as I know bitcoin is very well known and popular in all over the world and besides that BTC is affiliated in the website which is legit to all members who can open in new technology.

Actually, in any Cryptocurrency it can happen, but for one thing this seems never to be possible. Bitcoin is the highest coin in Cryptocurrency. I never thought this coin would be replaced by another coin.

As it stands, bitcoin has been on top of its game and it would even take more than a magic for any other coin to displace it. And if a coin would displace bitcoin from its position, then that coin should be independent of bitcoin. Meaning, the rise and fall of bitcoin shouldn't affect that coin in any way.

There is none for now. They have already the opportunity to replace Bitcoin during this bearish period but while the Bitcoin is falling they missed the chance to rise up so i guess all Atcoins will always depend of Bitcoin performance that is why it can't be replace by any Cryptos.

I think It is ethereum, the coin is going to replace BTC. Ethereum is the second and doing well on market now.

In the near future, no coin is able to replace bitcoin in its place of the leader of the crypto currency. In order for bitcoin to be displaced, first bitcoin should lose price dominance over other types of crypto currency. And this means that it must lose its high level of capitalization, which ensures its price dominance. However, bitcoin has such a significant level of capitalization in comparison with other crypto-currencies, that it does not threaten it yet.

I think It will happen.  There is many potential coin now. Ethereum, NEO,EOS etc. They will replace bitcoin at the future.

As of now none and I don't really think if there will be some coin that will replace the mother BTC place. Every altcoins and tokens are relying on BTC price and I think no one can replace it.

If there's a chance that bitcoin will be replaced as being the number one, I think only ethereum has the potential to be the successor crypto-currency with a bigger value. But, this is not possible for now because as bitcoin's price goes down, ethereum is also affected.

For other coin to replace Bitcoin on the first position will take some magic as Bitcoin is really performing.
if such a coin exists,then it is certainly Ethereum,because it is the most promising at the moment among the entire cryptocurrency market

Yes Of course, There is several potential altcoins , They will replace bitcoin at the coming future. I like ethereum, EOS and litecoin. They have potential to do it.

I suppose numerous coin who need to make their coin primary. however till now there may be nonetheless no coin which could replace the position of bitcoin gan. if in terms of rate and marketplace bitcoin the most and luxurious rate .

Well, nothing lasts forever, and although Bitcoin is the oldest and most sucessfull coin, it is natural that eventually gets replaced as #1...
Bitcoin will probably retain a huge value but in my oppinion, considering the possibility to substitute fiat money entirely, BTC is loosing the "practical application" battle and it will get replaced with a more useable currency (lower fees, faster transactions) on a long term

I am not so that this can happen, just that it takes a long time and more achievement to be able to outperform the bitcoin. any coins that later can do it, I believe that he would have been better.

I don't think there will be a coin that can replace bitcoin in the near future. Bitcoin is a coin that is very strong compared to other coins. Bitcoin was born first because that is why the existence of Bitcoin is unbeatable.

Getting a coin to replace Bitcoin will be very difficult and the most difficult thing that ever happened. Looking at the price difference between Bitcoin and other altcoins, it seems quite impossible for that to be done.

I don't think it can replace the position of bitcoin because it's not easy. Bitcoin is the first crypto that is able to penetrate all countries and the struggle of bitcoin to reach its peak is not short and bitcoin is also strong enough to maintain its position even though no one knows how future developments the most important thing for me is that cryptocurrency is still growing and giving a lot of profits and I don't think there will be coins that can replace bitcoin. because bitcoin is the father of all crypto so it will be very difficult to replace it.

I think there will be no coins that can replace bitcoin because it will be very difficult to replace even though many people predict that ethereum will replace bitcoin but that is not possible because bitcoin is too strong to beat because bitcoin is king of Crypto.

I think bitcoin cash and ethereum will replace bitcoin. They are potiential coun and doing well on market on this year.
I also hold the same opinion. These two coins - ethereum and bitcoin in cash - are able to replace bitcoin in its place of the leader of the crypto currency. This will largely depend on how successful bitcoin will get out of the current long period of stagnation and whether it will eliminate its shortcomings in the near future.
