Do you think it would be a good idea to offer a simulation of how a bitcoin mixer would work, on testnet maybe?

It could be useful for people to understand exactly what is happening when people use a mixer.

(of course it will never go on mainnet)

Honestly, who is involved in assessing the legality of service, I would not be surprised if at some point your educational material is also marked as risky. It's probably better for you not to risk it that way.

Some instructions, animations and an explanation of how everything works is always a good thing, who knows, maybe one day it will help so that mixers are not viewed exclusively as an illegal activity.

Additionally, they might be an useful reference of users behavior and posting habits...
It could also have some seo effect.

With the latest Google update, SEO metrics will be mostly directed towards useful content, as well as regularly updated content. I'm inclined to think that too-old bounty threads don't contribute to anything anymore, maybe they even bring more damage to the forum ranking.

Given that their deletion could damage some other structure on the forum, such as activity points and user ranking, it is probably the best solution for such threads to remain, but they could be locked and archived.

Hi, we have been continuously strengthening our platform's security and anonymity protection measures over the past few months. Enhanced encryption, obfuscation techniques, and strong operational security practices have been put in place to protect our users.
It is really good to know that you are present here.
I hope that you, who are behind mixero.io, have been sufficiently protected, it seems that in the last few days, it is a big risk to talk about the whole thing.

Right now, I'm quite worried about a new proposal to freeze crypto assets related to Mixers. This is really worrying to me because I have always been concerned about the cleanliness of my BTC and have often used Mixers to make sure they are always "clean" enough to avoid problems when depositing them into accounts on CEXs. If CEXs have to freeze all crypto assets related to Mixers, I will have to find other ways to make sure my account is okay. I'm not even sure if every satoshi in my account has ever been associated with Mixers in the past few years 8)

I'm fine with this if it's clearly defined.
This law will apply to US citizens. Also, every service that is subject to such a law should have a clear notification to its users that they do not accept coins from mixers or whatever and that there is a possibility of blocking or confiscating coins.
If we all ignored such services, they would certainly think differently about this problem.

However, what is going to stop people from simply adding +1 karma to each of a particular user's posts, as a form of merit abuse?

admin has insight into giving karma between users, there was almost an exposed case of farming karma points between alt accounts. It resulted in returning to 0 karma points for all connected accounts.
btw. It would be good if we all had at least an indication of which post received (and how many) karma points.

- Jurisdiction: Which country is the service operating from?

I'm not sure that we can expect this from any service that deals with increasing anonymity. With the current hunt for all such services, it would be quite amateurish.

I saw that the OP in other threads asked icopress to contact him, I assume that it is about some future promotion here, but it would be good to see more activity here. Many questions require answers.

Here is another service that thought that the right way to gain trust is by leaving fake feedback and discussions
Quite obviously, all registered in a very short period.

Dear, who had problems with verification?Share how quickly it was solved? Or is there no verification at all?

I prefer to use other services, but this one seemed very promising, maybe I should pay attention to it or wait.

Yeah well, the swap already looks good, but of course I think it will be better in the future.

I have already exposed a similar case, now I am not sure if these accounts are sanctioned, but as far as I can see, the posts are not deleted.

Also, if this is not a proper subboard, I ask the admin to move it and possibly inform me where is a suitable place for such things so that I know for the future.

I thought that developing this list was part of an effort to preserve privacy, especially after banning mixing services, but now mixers that have ref links appear first, and some ads appear at the top, so at least leave an option to click on referral links if they want to support the service.

You are right about this. But that's how it is in the affiliate business, those links that can bring profit to the blog owner are always highlighted first. It is logical to expect some kind of reward for the effort or at least possibly cover the costs.
Given that arriving directly or via a referral link does not change anything for the visitor, I do not see a particular problem with that.

For example, Bestchange is designed exclusively for this way of profit, and only services that have an affiliate/partner program can be included in their monitoring. It is their only source of income. (No sponsors, ads or anything similar)

I saw a stat on a chain analysis website that says one of four wallets is suspicious. Technically they mean, one of four addresses is suspicious. But if they actually think they can try to segregate dirty bitcoins from "clean" (i.e. passed through an exchange) bitcoins, then that is very dangerous and alarming.

It is a bit hypocritical that confiscated "dirty" coins suddenly become "clean" after they come into the ownership of the FEDs. In their fight against money laundering, they are the biggest coin cleaners, while there is no one above them to sanction them.

Signature Campaigns / Re: Altcoinstalks Signature Campaign Observer

I hope  new campaigns shows up. Usually, when a mix dies 2 more show up

Maybe now is the best time to start the mixer. After CM was closed, soon many new services appeared, and some older ones also caught the air. These days there is less competition, which increases the possibility of success.
With a higher degree of security and disclosure of personal information, it is possible.

Is anyone facing issues with AltcoinsTalks forum today?

For me pages are opening very slow and I am unable to use it like before.
Maybe admin is doing some work with server, but that should be announced earlier.

It is working normal here. I didn't experience any delay that isn't normal...

No problem from my side.

but redirection boards are to avoid people posting in wrong boards > thus even if it does not make much sense to have them , they are important

But it is a waste of time and useless clutter for those who actively use the forum and know the appropriate place for certain topics. If we talk about the quality and usability of the forum, the same boards in several places certainly affect the quality reduction.

Also, there are too many very similar subboards, it seems to me that it is not a mistake to write the same thing in any part, where in the end everyone writes in the place that is visited more.

Trust is the hardest and -1 is not a good thing to start here. In general, slow replies in the first days give a negative indicator.
I'm not sure why he immediately got - karma, I guess everyone has the right to open an ANN thread for their service and that first post certainly does not deserve - karma.
With further communication, we will know more about the service itself and the behaviour of those behind it, although a little more activity would be desirable.

Trust me on this, if owners of this services was arrested it would already be everywhere in news and they would stick big warning message on their website.
That doesn't mean agencies didn't try to track, catch, arrest them and shut down their servers many times.
But If website is not working for days than it's not nothing  :P

I got the impression that the owners of both mixers (Tumbler and Unijoin) were not anonymous enough and this going offline is just to avoid a scenario like ChipMixer or Samurai.
For example, the CM owner paid for hosting with PayPal a couple of times, and then his anonymity disappeared.

I wouldn't be surprised if they appear but under a completely different name and brand.
