I own ripple and I bought it at 23 cents. A majority in crypto community
is against ripple since it supports centralization (since ripple is mainly
used for cross-border payments between banks). But in my experience,
ripple has got the fastest transactions among cryptos. I have transacted
in Bitcoin, ether, litecoin, verge and many other cryptos. The only one close
to ripple is stellar and now nano (XRB rebranded to nano). I have always
got my XRP under 1 minute every time. So even if it doesn't have any other
utility, this itself is enough to keep some in my portfolio. And when I need to
trade between exchanges (arbitrage), I first check whether both exchanges
have ripple trading. Then I convert my crypto to XRP and then send to the other
exchange so that I can trade before the price difference between exchanges
gets reduced.
I going to hold it for long time
