Bitcoin does not compete with other coins because it surpasses them with a large market cap difference. In terms of speed, it is obvious how most coins speed up when they are listed and abruptly experience a massive dip afterwards - some call it pump and dump. Bitcoin takes its surges on a slow and tactical pace which is the smartest compared to what the new coins do.

Other coins lile Ethereum are trying to catch up with bitcoins but I am not sure they will or can catch up. Bitcoin remains always at the top, unbeatable.

as far as cryptocurrency is involve all coin are in competition, it will just take a little mistake from the bitcoin side or a better innovation from an alt to over throne bitcoin, the competition is still on but for now bitcoin is Kinging.

Absolutely not, there is no coin in the crypto world that can stand up and compete with bitcoin. Bitcoin is over 6 times bigger than the second expensive coin on the market which is Ethereum. The supremacy and dominancy of bitcoin is felt on almost every coin on the market. It is very obvious that bitcoin rules the crypto market and currently and in the years to come i don't see how any altcoin can moon up and compete with bitcoin in terms of value and popularity. Bitcoin is the KIng of the crypto world and shall forever be.

maybe Altcoins are too scared if Bitcoin has decreased.

There are coins that do the same thing as bitcoin but they haven't been around as long and thus aren't as trusted.  Bitcoin got there first and will likely always be on top, but transaction tokens will likely always exist and attempt to compete.  I like to think of Bitcoin as Coke and Ethereum as Pepsi, while the other altcoins are the store brands or lesser known brands like RC cola.  There's room for all of them to exist.  They can be rivals, but all support the market at the same time.

I'd say in some ways NANO is trying to be a competitor but I personally don't see the value in it..theres also Bitcoincash which is LOL and Litecoin which is bitcoin testnet.. but everything else is below the king, and likely will be for the foreseeable future.

It's a big No... I never think bitcoin is in competition with other coins because bitcoin leads almost in all aspect that crypto had possessed. In terms of popularity, usefulness, transaction speed and value, bitcoin remains the number one.

No coins will compete Bitcoin. The price and popularity are very far away from other coins. It leads the crypto coins price and gives a big influence to them. This something cannot be done by other crypto coins.
