Yes, you are right. At least, he doesn't say to destroy BTC. I can understand if he prefers to support USD as a president of USA. We cannot conclude that he is a hater of Bitcoin based on the statement only. Sometimes, it is not impossible for a surprising thing.

Yup agree on you, but because of what he said, it affected the market and most of the cryptocurrenies suddenly fall back because of this statement, but its okay, not everyone really trust the crpytocurrencies because they are still scared about this because it may affect the whole world.

I think he is afraid that Bitcoin will dominate the World, and of course this will affect the dollar, which in fact is the currency that is used as a benchmark by Fiat currencies throughout the World. And we need to remember, without them Bitcoin can develop very broadly.

One thing I will say is that Trump is speaking as a president, talking for the safety of his people and his financial Regime. So, I don't see this affecting bitcoin, lots of words and articles of this nature has come before to tarnish the image of bitcoin, and this one in particular is not to tarnish the image of bitcoin but to tell his people that he is not in support of it as a President which he is now.

As we know, the state has no control over cryptocurrencies. Maybe this is exactly what many politicians and countries as a whole do not like. So many people speak negatively.

Trump is the president of the United States, he represents the US government, and of course believes in power of the dollar. Accepting BTC or any cryptocurrencies is limiting the influence of fiat, and of course America's power on a global scale.

No wonder he's not a btc fan. He's old-school, old-school like most American millionaires and billionaires. They grew up on the idea that the dollar is the only constant and strong currency. Actually, they bundled up their fortune with dollars. That is why they are not fans of anything other than the dollar
