Title: Will bitcoin reach $60,000 before February ends?
Post by: Fivestar4everMVP on February 27, 2024, 09:26:23 AM
Today is 27th of February, and like i believe many of us already know, we are in a leap year, which means, instead of February ending tomorrow being the 28th, we are going to see one day extra, which is the 29th of February, which simple means that from today, we have 2 more days before we say bye bye to February.

Now, bitcoin has been performing really nicely lately, between yesterday and today, we saw the price rose from around $51,000 and currently trading a little about $56,000 at the time of typing this post.
Like I said before, it's 2 days before the month of February ends, let's play a little bitcoin price prediction game, the game will end on the 29th of February, at 11:59 pm (forum time).

The game is - within this two remaining days for February to be over, do you think Bitcoin price will reach $60,000?
Answer "YES" or "NO" in commment and state why you think what you think.

Let's have fun while watching the price of bitcoin do it's thing. 😅

YES

Maybe even earlier. With the current market, I believe it's being talked about now and is currently rising in price because of the institutions that are buying with the market. It is now reaching towards the "old money" and they are now being exposed to a different side of the market. If being exposed and mainstream now is the way, it can reach that price in no time.

Bitcoin price was below $50k in early February. It is normal for bitcoin price to go up and down all the time, but the price of bitcoin is improving so much that in just one month the price of bitcoin has greatly improved to touch 57k dollars. No investor could have imagined that the price of Bitcoin would rise so much before the halving. Bitcoin price is currently touching $57k and there are signs of an upward trend. I think it is very likely to cross the 69 that Bitcoin price was at the time of the halving in 2021.

I cannot tell if bitcoin price will reach 60k or not in two days' time which is the last day of February. This is because the price movement of bitcoin is something that you don't know when it pumps or dumps, and to what level of price. From the look at the rise in price yesterday, it might be possible for the price to reach 60k, but the price has remained sideways, and has not gone back to 57k, so it is when bitcoin price reaches 58k, that I will be looking forward to seeing 60k. 60k price can be achieved by March before the halving.

NO.

We have already seen how Bitcoin price gains thousands in a single day, but I havent seen it doing repeatedly day after day. Bitcoin has already gained $5k in last 24h. Now the market must handle this jump. Analytics must think about it, make predictions for further price change, give suggestions to traders. This jump was quite spontaneous. No one has expected it, so people must make some kind of a research what it was. Just a pump and a trap for hamster, market is going to change direction, trading order liquidation and etc? Two days imho is not enough to do that.

P.S. I am rather pessimistic about current market, but last days made me change my mood. I dont think that in two days Bitcoin will pass 60k, but I expect price to continue growing without correction.

It is possible, ETF cunts are buying as if it were the last one. There is nothing spontaneous here.
It is being said everywhere that it is not a big deal because we have seen similar jumps in Bitcoin. However, I am not a supporter of one entity having such power to move the price by 10%. This is what Elon Musk did, the Chinese government announced the ban/acceptance of cryptocurrencies, and it's all manipulations for short-term profit and I don't see how it's good for Bitcoin enthusiasts.

I think the price won't reach $60k at the end of this month. We have just crossed $57k and the price is around $56k now. I think it will drop again to $55k in the next few days. We won't always have a pump on Bitcoin price, there should be correction or a sideway phase. I think the pump has done when it passed $57k.

However, I'm sure we will see the price of Bitcoin to be around $60k in the early of the next month. There are only 2 days remaining before the new month. It is too early if it jumps to $60k now.

Well, february is just 28+1 days so, i will say NO, it wil be more possible if its complete 31 days. Kidding aside, price is reaching 57k as of writing. 3k increase in 1 day is possible but i doubt it will happen. I could predict second week of march 60k will be highly likely if the increase will gonna continue.

Well, it's a game remember, you can't be nautral, you have to either say "YES", that the price of bitcoin will reach $60k before February ends, or "NO", that the price of bitcoin won't reach $60k before February ends 😁.

But all the same, this is nothing serious, it's just one of those ways to just have fun and as well, put our correct prediction abilities to the test, though this is a very simple and easy game to win, most especially for those who will wait till tomorrow, near 11:59 pm to come and comment here, cus by then, it's already very clear to them whether we are seeing $60k in February or not 😅.

Anyways, bitcoin is already a little above $58k, just less than $2k for $60k, if the uptrend continues, we may likely see $60k before the end of today.

Yea, you are right it is just a game, and if you look at what I stated above, that it is only when it reaches 58k before I can have the hope for 60k. This is why I have come back to this thread to say that 58k price level have been achieved, and YES we can see 60k by tomorrow before 11.59pm. This is because it hasn't reached 24hrs before it reached 58k, just an hour ago. The price this week has been pumping, Therefore, we need to buy more bitcoin because we might not see this price anymore till the next circle.

And speaking of bitcoin reaching $58k, have you seen the latest price?😂, the price is now a little above $59k

Now, I am very certain that Crwth is right, and if there is no strong resistance on the way to $60k that might cause a major or minor pull back, we may see bitcoin reach and go above $60k dollars before evening today, or before today runs out, and remember, we still have tomorrow before the month ends😁, exciting times ahead.

It seems that I was wrong. There is still plenty of time left and the price is $59.2k already. But my pessimistic mood stays where it was. It is even pumped more with overall greed and FOMO. Like the price grew without any reason, it fall down without any reason. The more the price gained, the harder the fall would be. And this fall might pause mass adoption and price recovery for a year again. I always try to understand why things happen the way they happen, and I can not explain current growth. Doubt that this is due to demand only.

Although i know bitcoin will reach this high for these upcoming days but i didn't expect it will be too early lmao. I said it will be second week of march but it  looks like people really buy the hype and it still growing may be we will reach 62k~ish before the month ends if this still continue.

With the recent performance of the bitcoin market, we can give all indications leading to have the experience with the market pumping to $60,000 and we may also go further from there hence, as at present, we are already at $59,000 which is just a little more to cross to the $60,000 target and beyond and we still have one more day left for us to be able to achieve this before the month ends.

The price of Bitcoin is so high that in February 2024, the price of Bitcoin reached its highest level. At the beginning of the halving, the price of Bitcoin rose so much, currently the price of Bitcoin has touched up to 60.8K.

Amazing bitcoin, what a good treasure to hold. The price currently is 61k as I am typing this post. It has gone above 60k,which was the price that we were predicting on. This shows that bitcoin is a high volatile asset. What came to my head this afternoon, was that...will it be possible for bitcoin price to hit a new ATH i.e going above 69k before the halving. Because from history this has never happened, it is always after the halving that a new ATH is achieved.

Bitcoin has almost penetrated $64K, but fell back to $61K. The trend is increasing and will continue to get better. Will it continue to move? Let's see, there is always that possibility.

So, predictions that Bitcoin could eventually reach $60K, there will always be more interest in the future.

The increase in Bitcoin prices so far has been very significant. In fact, in just a few days, after previously experiencing a slight correction, then this time it really skyrocketed again. Yes, even though currently the price of Bitcoin has fallen again to $61k, the fact that Bitcoin has reached almost $64k really spurs our enthusiasm for holding. Just imagine, before the halving, Bitcoin had almost reached ATH last season. So, that means the price of Bitcoin will accelerate even more rapidly after the next halving, right? Which most likely will also have a serious impact on the development of Bitcoin and others. Will the bullish era become more advanced or will it last for quite a long time?

Yeah, exactly, seems to me like you took the words or the thoughts out of my mind, bitcoin topped at $64k yesterday before it dropped back to around $60k, made moves like it was going to drop lower, but all of a sudden, it started pumping again, though this time, more slowly, as I type this comment, bitcoin is between $62k $63k, it's really an amazing time to hold bitcoin.

And like I said before, I was thinking exactly the same thing, is bitcoin going to go past its previous all time high before halving? Pretty much possible, considering that halving is still like more than 50 days away, 52 days to be exactly, and bitcoin is just like between $8k to $9k away from reaching and crossing its previous all time high, if this growth continues like this in the coming days, highly possible that we will witness for the very first time, bitcoin cross its previous all time high before it's halving, and this may happen in the month of March.
Fingers 🤞.

Current bitcoin price leave people speechless. As far as I remember, previous price growths were not so quick and sharp. Previously bitcoin was gaining hundreds dollar per day, lucky if it gains a thousand. Now it jumps over thousand or two like it is nothing. Like it is an altcoin from second hundred. Interesting to observe price changes. Does anyone knows if demand for bitcoin already aheads supply?

Yes, you are right that the movement in the past was a bit stagnant, but now in just 24 hours it can make a very fantastic movement, so it's not surprising that it is currently at $66K even though it had reached $67K some time ago. However, the simultaneous influence between ETFs and the halving period affects all of this, and it is not impossible that before the halving period occurs, the ATH in 2021 could be exceeded, and we will, of course, wait for this and other developments.

A few days ago the price of Bitcoin rose quite high due to increasing demand on exchanges, ETFs became one of the main factors in the increase in Bitcoin prices and secondly, in the next few days it will be approaching halving which will make Bitcoin even more difficult to obtain. so Bitcoin will become more expensive than the previous price.

Bitcoin prices have now risen again and provided fresh air for those who are still holding onto their Bitcoin assets. Bitcoin still has the potential to rise until the halving is over, so for me at this time continuing to buy as much Bitcoin as possible to make a profit when the halving arrives will give a very high price increase and you can choose to sell to make a profit or keep holding for the next few years.

I agree with you, we should buy as many bitcoins as possible before the bitcoin halving ends. and we must have predictions by setting a sell target during the bullish season. I target selling my bitcoin at $175K

But this is out of the ordinary for Bitcoin, where it increased sharply before the halving period passed, but before entering the halving period it was already moving upwards.
It is not impossible that before the halving there could be an increase of up to $100K, and you must always remember to be prepared that after the halving, usually at the start there will be a correction. So don't be too surprised, it's actually an opportunity to buy again and at the end of this year it is estimated that it will reach $125K, so that when it enters 4 years in 2025 it will reach its peak ATH. Don't know what price Bitcoin will reach and there is always the possibility of surprises.

Unfortunately the price of Bitcoin has started to decline some time ago and it seems that reaching the price you mentioned at $125k will be very difficult because so far Bitcoin has still not been able to cross the price limit at $80k which has a very large amount of USD that must be collected. use it to penetrate it.

After freefalling and worrying a lot of people, it has finally started to recover, although not optimally, freely we are optimistic that it will open again. Just waiting to see whether, before the halving period, it can move again or stagnate, this will clearly affect the halving period, which is likely to be corrected at the beginning before increasing. The fear is that the increase will not be optimal. Everything can still happen, and you have to be sure that there will be a second ATH after yesterday. Who knows when and how long it will happen.

I think it is no necessary, don't buy excessively. We only buy whenever there is a dump in the market. We also need to ensure that we have spent free money only. We don't invest in Bitcoin with the money for basic necessities. Although invest in Bitcoin is quite safe, we don't forget about the possible risk. And we must remember to have a realistic target. I think selling at $175k is a too high price.

Selling at the price of $175k can be high because the current price of bitcoin(68k) is in no way close to that price but that doesn't mean bitcoin would in no way reach the said price someday. What I know is that whatever speculated price that we aim to sell our bitcoin, bitcoin will surely get to that price, it is just a matter of time, for one to be patient and hodl their bitcoin strongly and never lose your seed phrase. And whatever price they dream of selling their bitcoin for, is up to them because every one of us has a different price target.

Indeed. That's what I mean, the current price is too far from $175k. Of course, everyone may have a different target on the taking profits. But I'm sure most people will feel satisfied to take profits when the price of Bitcoin will reach $100k. I think it still makes sense to sell at $100k although there is no guarantee that the price of Bitcoin will cross $100k or never in this bullrun season.

Bitcoin has been a surprise that is not usually done before the halving period,, where currently, bitcoin has been a surprise by passing its ATH. Usually the increase is after passing the halving period, not the other way around, and will move slowly to increase until the usual 4 years, which will arrive in 2025.
So this is extraordinary, so many people conclude that there will be a 2x ATH, where the difference is quite significant, and we cannot conclude what the appropriate price is. Maybe for $100K it can be done at the end of this year and just wait for the new ATH.

It was very surprising to see Bitcoin's price surpass ATH before the halving because it never happened before. It indicates that demand is considerably stronger than it was before, and it will be quite interesting to see where the price goes after the halving. There may be a significant fall below, but I believe a surge in price would shock the entire world; $100k is easy.

February target by OP for bitcoin price have reached and right now we are waiting for the month of March how much and potential for bitcoin price? Current bitcoin price $69k and last ATH above $73k will this month of March bitcoin pump and get new ATH price or dropping more.
Today seems bad moment for bitcoin after dropping suddenly and as April mop or not but get large impact after bitcoin crashing few percent most of altcoin price get down. Wish near future with halving could bring positive moment for bitcoin increasing to the higher price.

Earlier it went as high as $71,000 and I thought that it will and continue at the start of the year. However, it dip to $69,000, not sure what's the reason, maybe just profit taking as I never seen any bad news that will affect the market price to go down today.

Nonetheless, the market is still volatile, sentiments though remain positive but volume today is not that big. Maybe still some traders or investors are in the holiday this Easter and vacationing and just taking a rest.

That's right, I also see that there is no bad news that has an influence on Bitcoin price movements in the market. If I analyze this, this is just a price correction from miners who might try to sell Bitcoin when the price is still high and they don't want to be late in selling at a high price. Surprisingly, Bitcoin Trading Volume looks very weak even though there is a halving that will come soon.

We certainly hope that the surprise that Bitcoin has brought will provide a positive direction. Of course, as you also said, we will see that there are other surprises that will be carried out after the halving period has passed.
Hopefully it matches the predictions of many people. I think getting to $100K can be done because this is the predicted price for 2021, which failed to happen.
But maybe what we are waiting for is the second ATH that will occur.

2021 is a great year for crypto, that year some people made millions. Unfortunately, there are investors who lose a lot or get stuck at 2021 and now the price came back and create new ATH. Holders no more, they already gained from their investment. And now, we are aiming for another peak which is $100k or more. If investors have the same positivity, as well as the price.

Of course OP, your guess is correct because the price of Bitcoin touched in February itself according to your opinion.  The current Bitcoin price has increased throughout the month of March and has hit a record high of $73.6K, the highest Bitcoin price has ever touched.  Of course there is another step of Bitcoin investment before the halving begins as the Bitcoin halving will take place in mid-April.  But wait for the big bull market after the halving is over.

Everyone is waiting for the halving right now, because they want to see how big the correction will be. then start analyzing and predicting after the price increases. everyone will monitor the market and make predictions about what price ATH will occur when the top is bullish

Agree that 2021 is an extraordinary year because ATH was formed even though it was outside the desired predictions, but now it has been missed even though the halving period has not yet occurred and this is something that is quite surprising because no Altcoin itself can do the same thing.
You are right, for those who have held it for a long time, of course, they have made a profit, but it is not optimal and this is normal, because you can be sure there will be a new ATH again, perhaps in the next year with a more significant one, because if you look at the previous ATH, it was formed before the halving.

New question will bitcoin reach $80,000 before April ends.

New question will bitcoin reach $80,000 before April ends.
There are only 16 days left until this month ends and the price of Bitcoin is currently at $67k. With the target you mentioned at $80k it seems like that will be very difficult to happen. Currently there is no good news that could trigger Bitcoin prices to rise. ETFs can no longer provide support for Bitcoin price movements. So I think until April is over the price of Bitcoin will still be below $80k.
