Have you also had this statement that our people regularly keep saying that "free food dey purge"?
Yes if you understand this adage you would know that you shouldn't have trust any platform or keep diluting their mere words without come to realities. It's true that airdrops are cool ways of starting the cryptocurrency space but you should also know that most of them has turned it the other way round where they don't always want to pay their airdrop participants rather, they uses them as an avenue to create and generate traffic for their site without you earning any from them. From most topic and some discussion I have engaged myself with it's known that airdrops where paying out huge time but of lately the only airdrops that I know is legit are the one who holds some specific tokens and in return for that, they will receive a specific amount as holders.

Airdrop is not something people would even participate because even you have the token some of them there is no where to sell and it will be in your wallet for sometimes years or months until the token issued listed in an exchange. Everyone has their encounter ways to start up the crypto market. I started mine with bitcoin in bitcointalk but the awareness was given before fully coming to the forum. And I don't think airdrop is a good start to the cryptocurrency. It looks like a scam to me. Though people are making from it.

At this point, I would not hesitate to say this that Airdrops made many people here on this platform and also the reverse is or was always the same case.

It is quite unfortunate that airdrops these days are just scammy and not ready to wave as it used to be on the early beginnings.

At this juncture, I have no doubt decentralised p2p would be the answer to the brouhaha and the ignorance of our so called agencies and their ceremonial heads and jamboree dancers. I believe already something more sophisticated is coming up sooner than later. It will only just take a little time to see to work it out to perfection. The Nigeria crypto market is not a joke and no exchange is ready to lose their quota from our market be it p2p or normal trading services, none would be left out in this case.

Gambling discussion / Re: should gambling be completely banned?
« on: May 08, 2024, 07:50:35 PM »
The problem has never really been the casinos but people's and individual approach towards gambling.
Because the same gambling that's causing a lot of people crazy ass losses and frustration is also the same activity other people indulge themselves to have fun and relieve some mental stress.
So rather than expecting the government to issue a permaban on casinos, people should be more concerned with developing themselves and taking charge of their lives because that way gambling will have less negative effects on people who indulge in it.
Anyone that is so self-centered or that was addicted to gambling and gambling took a lot of money from will be talking in a way that gambling should be banned. Also some people that their parents and mosque have been teaching the lesson that gambling is not good can be saying something like that. But who wants gambling to be banned are like someone saying knife 🔪 should be banned because it can be used to kill. But everyone home has knife.

Truly people with gambling experience in the negative ways would always want to move the motion of banning gambling as a result of their experience they had during their gambling days if at all they still gamble. I believe as a result of the addiction, they had bad experience that really cost them being devastated and maybe frustrated.

Parents and religion would also kick against the existence of gambling to be a bad example for the society and as such they are willing and ready to move the banning motion of gambling in their various societies.

There has never been a time when the edge favours the gambler's but rather the casino because it was designed to be so. At first I will join you in saying that I do not keep track of my gambling proceeds because I do not do that to earn but for fun. Yes of course I have won games and also lose some as well but it is just that way because games are like that.

Truly looking at the other aspects of which you have mentioned about the gambling industry with respect to signature campaigns, affiliate marketing, reviews and social media promotion, I think this aspect has luck shining on me. It is worth it and I can say that I have been able to benefit from it too.

Gambling discussion / Re: How did the gambling life Start?
« on: May 08, 2024, 06:46:26 PM »
My gambling life basically started in the lottery side, I used to play massive lotteries in the real world. So tell us a detailed story of how you first entered into victory. And at present I am chiefly occupied with cricket, football, and Jackpot, I am present to gamble for a long time without becoming addicted. So how did your gambling life begin?

It all started back then when I was in my secondary school. I could remember vividly clear that day AC Milan played champions league finals and won it. I had the feelings that AC Milan would win the cup what gave me the courage then to play the game was the presence of Gattuso. I checked and was very confident before I did a live bet with my friend and I won it. Sincerely speaking it was a big one for my age then and that was my very first bet. I still could remember that feelings I got that day as a result of winning that game.
It was my first time and I recorded it to be a successful one that day.

This is my first time of hearing such name. It is unfortunate that an insider betrayed the organisation they work for after signing up as an employee to the organisation.

I am not in any way supporting the block Inc for their behaviour but this should be an eye opener for others to see that no matter the hidden secrets one day it would be revealed. In this case it was a staff of the organisation that did that. What an employee!

Well, Bitcoin has dropped under 60k and other cryptos have also started to dip a bit. So nobody can predict what would happen in future, it may dip even further. The market has been a bit unstable for some time. So investors should not rush in investing in this unstable situation.
So far today, the market has been greenish and surpassed it's previous price which means there is hope for price increase. Although nobody can predict the market direction but however the speculations keep coming that Bitcoin would surpass it's all time high and that is what most enthusiast are looking forward to.
Hold your bag, take your seat and get ready for whatever the result or outcome may be.

Thank you for the information. You are a reputable member here and on the other platform. So when you talked of you receiving mails from scammers, I do not doubt it but I just laugh at the scammers because they are wasting their time thinking they would get at you. You have been in the system for quite a long time with vast knowledge and experience so nobody would easily get you scammed so easily.
Scammers are now on the spree looking for where to get money from at this period. Every one needs to be very much careful so the they do not fall victim to their gimmicks. Avoid clicking links you have knowledge of and if possible, delete the message immediately if you do not know the source.

Looking at the regulatory aspect of it and the current rift raft with binance, I think the government don't want to cautiously handle crypto situations amicably in the country , they want it in a forceful way to fully control everything which is not possible hence their Banta with binance.
US sued Binance, Nigeria government officials told Nigerians to avoid Binance. US fined Binance and CZ, Nigeria government took hostage of two Binance executives and preparing to fine Binance also. Copycat. They are all illiterates for what they did. Can't they see other countries like India and Philippines? Nigeria government believe in wrong ways that they think are right. I have not seen people so illiterate like them. That is why the country is not moving forward.
Nigeria sef na wa. The country too like apian way naim make things dey dagbaru  any how for the country. Looking at the binance saga, I am seeing it as though Nigeria government wants their own share of the cake as it is that binance is the world richest Crypto exchange and have made a lot of money from trading and other fees which involves their services.
As CZ is going for his jail term, likely their representative who fled from the prison might also serve his own terms too. Only God knows what and how the case would be like and the charges to be passed against the representative.

General Discussion / Re: What do I do with no money?
« on: May 04, 2024, 09:53:42 AM »
Taking a walk at night would help me calm myself and also relieve me of some thoughtful stress while feeling the environment and having a good breath of the gentle fresh night breeze.

Writing is what I do most times and I do write here by reading posts replies and comments to also contribute my opinion by writing as well and the other is doing research because as at then, it would all mean a breakout things for me as I would want to see more options to survival which involves me  doing a further research and findings to see more opportunities out there for me to explore.

Reading here and replying to post costs nothing.

Since I have a signature I actually earn some money doing it and am not broke so it is a win win.

It is a win win thing sir.  Just as you have said, I believe that is the situation and thanks to LogitechMouse  for his sayings. I have been able to get through things and crypto currency helps alot for those into it. I am into crypto and I must say that truly it has helped me alot too.

Sometimes it is good to have knowledge of something by doing research and findings to equip yourself ahead of time so that you would not be taken unawares of situations and developments. When you are fully equipped with knowledge, you can not experience a no money situation so often than normal because the information you have at hand can fetch you money to survive.

A great thing is read and post. So many people all over the world share info here and of course on other sites.

Reading and posting here is a great idea because the more one reads the more they know and have ideas to post what is inline with the topic of discussion. Reading here also expose one to vital information that could help them fetch money for themselves.

For instance one that is eligible for wearing a signature and avatar can be making good and quality posts here and if my signature campaign opens for entry and they apply, the manager could consider them and if that happens, that means they would start earning crypto currency weekly as payment for their services rendered.

They could also apply for bounty campaign as well because that would also keep them engaged with social media activities in promoting the project they are employed to work with and after the duration of such bounty campaign, they will be paid in Crypto as stipulated in the terms and conditions of the bounty campaign service. I think this would help them well.

Hi.Can I still write messages and get paid for it? Or is the company over?

The campaign is not over yet but it is still very much active and running. As you can see the topic of the thread,  CFNP which means Closed For New Participants. This means that there are no slots or opening on the campaign and it is only when the manager puts up advert for open slots, that is when you can apply again. Till then, you could keep checking the thread to see when an opening is available. For the now the campaign is CFNP.
You could be active and checking the thread regularly just as you did now so you can know when the manager puts up opening so you could apply.

Whereas, cryptocurrency is a digital currency which can be used for exchange of goods and services as per vendors payment terms.
Fiat can also be a digital currency. Even fiat has been existing electronically before the invention of bitcoin in 2009. When defining cryptocurrencies, two things are important. The first is blockchain as cryptocurrencies are making use of blockchain technology. The second is decentralization. Although, many coins and tokens are centralized, but not centralized like how fiat are made by central authorities.
That's right, as you said, several countries already accept fiat payments in digital form, but they all have an exchange ratio of 1:1 so fiat in digital form is only used to make it easier for users if they want to carry out trade transactions directly using fiat.

No doubt about it. Most countries would prefer to use the national digital currency when it comes to online payment than crypto because the government believe it is stable, regulated and controlled unlike Crypto which has no government regulations.
Another reason being that the ratio between the two currencies are equivalent to the dollar exchange rate and it has a legal backings which makes it valid and acceptable as a digital legal tender.
Exactly and as Charles -Tim said fiat can also be use as an online payment which we have been using so there is no big deal on that. If the shop or company accepts Bitcoin payment online and you have the bitcoin to pay for the goods then you pay but we have to consider the transaction fee compared to local.or fiat currency online payment. Fiat is free but you have to pay for the transaction fee in crypto. And the countries that accepting bitcoin for online payment are just few though it is an individual payment method. In my location I have only seen one shop accepting bitcoin.
How is it possible now that vendors would demand or accept BTC for services and expect their customers to pay for it looking at the current state of BTC transaction fee and coupled with the fact that their is always a delay in transaction confirmation. I do not think anybody would likely do that now and moreover, the BTC transaction fee is a but much higher if it is to be converted into some currency equivalent.
I know of some guys that accepts Bitcoin but currently, they were telling me that since this transaction fee issues started, some of their customers do not pay in Bitcoin but rather, they would prefer to pay in the local currency and him too do not pay his vendor who accepts Bitcoin because of the transaction fee and you can see that this case is vice versa, nobody wants to lose.

The other thought on my mind is that EFCC agents have been recruited to infiltrate these exchange platforms to pick accounts of Crypto traders dealing on crypto currencies. Some days ago, I received a circular from a friend which contains some names of supposed EFCC agents on one of the exchanges trading and finding account to victimise.

All I can say is that we ought to be very much careful and not carried away by the price we see online when ever we are on the verge of selling  our coin for fiat via p2p platforms.
Instead of going to through this means won’t it be better for them to just settle things with the exchange and look for how to regulate the Dollar/Naira rate? I’m sure most of them that will be involved in this will just do it because of what they’ll be able to scoop out for themselves not because of government work.
Padi this thing you talk Na true o. This wan go turn another hustle for this eagle boys them for we country. Them fit take the mola wey dey there take forget say na government work dem dey do begin chase new hustle there dey hunt for men dem.

Looking at the regulatory aspect of it and the current rift raft with binance, I think the government don't want to cautiously handle crypto situations amicably in the country , they want it in a forceful way to fully control everything which is not possible hence their Banta with binance.
