Title: Mods, please be more tolerated with bounties!
Post by: Leonardo on April 02, 2019, 09:38:00 AM
I've been searching a quality bounty on our forum for a long time and found this one lately: https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=104004. But unfortunately, it was moved to "Quarantine & Test Area" and as a result, no Altcoinstalks' member was able to join. It's a great regret since HIGH token was listed on p2pb2b (https://p2pb2b.io/trade/HIGH_BTC).

The problem here is: why we missed such a good bounty? Ok, partly because of bounty manager's fault for not complying with forums rules and mods moved it to "Quarantine & Test Area" section. But why, why don't send them a PM/DM and ask them to make it appeal.

Mods, please be more tolerated with bounties. The forum needs good bounties to reward its member's contribution, right?

From what I know, those quarantined are returned to the main bounty thread once they're verified and complied with the rules. The forum does not allow bounties to be posted by just anyone here. If that user who posted is really from the Highbank team, the issue would have been settled by now.

EDIT: I talked to their admins on telegram and it was only right that it was quarantined since they did not launch a campaign here. Their only official campaign is on bitcointalk.

Exactly. I am moving all bounties with link to other forums to Quarantine and also with reg forms which require BTT profile link. BMs are warned about it. And they have time to change it. Many bounties from Quarantine were moved back to Bounty section.

I support what mnixxo has done so far. It is the right way to make the bounty managers aware of what they should correct on their bounty threads. It also shows them that our forum has dignity and regulation. We mustn't allow bounty managers to promote another forum by enclosing its link on the threads.

Actually, I don't know that they posted here just for advertising their bounty on the forum X. It's unfair to ALTT's member in doing so.

Providing the fact that they didn't tend to bring their bounty to ALTT, you're right moving their topic to Quarantine. Anyway, I only want to remind that sometimes, bounty managers are too busy to check their topic, mods are supposed to remind them (by PM or DM), I think it doesn't take much effort. You know, the more bounties, the better our forum is.

I agree with you. I still try to contact bounty manager here by PM or on their bounty telegram chat or channel, or I am trying to contact admins on oficcial (not bounty) telegram channels.

Looks to me that the bounty manager just copy pasted from bitcointalk which is a rival of altcoinstalks. And if bounty managers are eager to have their campaign advertise here at altcoinstalks, of course they have to comply to make it fare with other bounties. Regardless if it is a good bounty, they have to abide in the rules to keep order and avoid spams/fake bounties getting posted.
