People have trust and confidence in Bitcoin, hence the absence of Bitcoin will lead to withdrawal of many investors which can cause a massive dip in the crypto market volume.

The Bitcoin Blockchain was designed to make the Blockchain cling to Bitcoin: so it falls without it. This shouldn't be the case beacise Blockchain is the technology that makes bitcoin unique.
However many will agree with me that the Ethereum Blockchain set an industrial standard such that it allows all industrial sectors to use the Blockchain technology.
This creates some form of autonomy for the Blockchain.
