[Issue] People will leave ICOs one day

Have you ever thought if one day people leave ICOs? I see from some discussions about this issue. They are discussing about the possibility about the topic. Personally, I think it may happen even though the possibility seems quite small. Investors may leave ICOs because of scam issues and many failed ICOs. They will buy coins or tokens listed on exchanges. And It may be safer way to invest in crypto.

My questions are:
1. What do you think about the issue? Is it possible to happen?
2. Is buying coins or tokens listed on exchanges safer than buying on ICOs?
3. Is ICO failure caused by many investors tend to choose buying tokens or coins on exchanges?

ICO system is not a failed system imho.
Its success depends by the number of ICO availables and market liquidity.

there are several reasons an ico is failed. the failed coins will not have a value in the market price. therefore we must be smart to choose a good ico so that we can get the coins that have a high prices on the market.

Everything can happen. I see some people prefer to buy tokens on exchanges. It maybe one of the factors of failed ICO projects. I think it must be fixed soon to prevent ICOs.

It is possible. It will happen if all developers/founders decide to fund their projects on their own or if they wish to raise funds thru venture capital.

I can't really tell. Some coins or tokens listed on exchanges end up being a scam or a failure too.

3. Is ICO failure caused by many investors tend to choose buying tokens or coins on exchanges?

It is one of the many factors why there's a decline in token or coin sales.

People leave not just because they experienced scam project or they got scammed but they just want wanted to leave because it is necessary. Having no money can leave crypto for a little while.

Yes, I sense the same thing in the crypto world, but in the other hand, there is also going to be some regulations with strict rules that will bring back confidence and many more investors will buy into cryptpcurrencies.

I think it is possible. If ICOs seems to be no longer effective in promoting a crypto project.

Yes. But It is only applied for top coins on exchanges. For example: top 20 coins on coinmarketcap.

It is one of the factors. It will be worse if investors no longer believe in ICOs. I am doubt that we will be hard to have new crypto coins or tokens by this problem.

In my opinion, I think there is a small ammoount of possibility that one day  people will decide to leave icos. But we dont know yet when will this thing happen because everything can happen. With regards to the safety of whether buying coins already listed or during the ico, we couldnt tell how safe both options are. There are some coins already listed but end up to be scam coins, so we must be careful in choosing coins to buy.

I am sure that it will be so in the end. I am surprised why people still carry their money to the organizers of various ICOs, because the whole year was full of disappointments and unfulfilled hopes for income from investing in cryptocurrency projects! Of course, it is better and safer to buy cryptocurrency on one of the well-known exchanges, waiting for its significant drop in value.

I doubt the possibility of people leaving ICO in the future because, if the use cases of these project has good things to offer the general public, then these ICOs will definitely have investors clamoring for them. I think that any upcoming projects that has very positive  impact on the society, the more people go for it. Any coin(s) that fail to deliver quality products or services to the entire crypto ecosystem in the future could be a failure, this is my opinion.

It is clear that it is necessary to make tools using smart contracts for ICO filtering to filter out fraudulent, unsuccessful ones that do not follow the road map, and in case of possible difficulties, immediately return funds to investors. Thus, to return investors  confidence in the ICO.

I think in nearby future ICO will not be consider again due to scam. Many projects are not progressing now due to investors are afraid of investigation their money INA project. Another means must be divulge to make Crypto move smoothly once again

You know, most ppl love this community coz of decentralized. It gives us equal(almost) chance to earn or lose. But ICO projects give special bonus and large cap to big investment groups and its decreasing our chance. So if this situation wont chance, then maybe one day ppl leave ico's.

I also think that this can happen, because many states should soon decide on various prohibitions on ico, there will be no such large profits.
