Forum related / Re: Bumps need deleted

What is the reason why deleting posts is not allowed?

I see no reason for that.

Maybe with a better reputation/trust system everyone should be allowed to.
Yes, I agree, there's no reason for not allowing users to delete their own posts. I believe such feature should be allowed so users can delete the posts that they find unworthy. I'm referring to the type of posts that OP mentioned in this thread, if the creator of those posts isn't allowed to delete his/her own posts then someone has to get privileges to delete such posts and warn such users so they may not create such posts in feature.

I know that burning of ALTT token is essential to keep forum working properly and to add some liquidity to that token but I also believe that some feature should be granted to all members especially when it comes to deleting of their own posts. The users should not be allowed to delete their topics/threads any default but they should be allowed to delete their own posts/replies like they are allowed to do on other forums.

P.S. Have any of you been in similar situations? If yes, please share your story. It will be helpful for others.
No, I have never been in a situation like that because I always try my best to copy the legit wallet address before executing any transaction. I feel really bad for that guy, $68M is a lot of money one can lose, and the poor guy lost it because he fall victim to a dust attack.

It's crypto world, the ones who lack awareness always face such problems in crypto world. The user has lost a huge amount, anyone having such amount could easily live his life without financial issues, but sometimes our lack of knowledge and awareness make us fall victim to the traps which people with malicious intention create for us. I really feel bad for that person, but unfortunately nothing can be done for him.

I repeat, there are good ideas on Btt that could be transferred here, or at least something similar. Various competitions, contests, etc..
That's what I asked for, and I believe those ideas would be quite helpful without any doubt. Yes, I'm active on Bitcointalk gambling board and I even participate in those contests myself.

But, on this forum casinos aren't as active as they are on Bitcointalk, and those contests can be only possible if casinos get interested in this forum as well.

None of the current campaigns on this forum are of casinos. Some of the campaign managers successfully moved some casino campaigns on this forum but all of those are inactive currently.

But i am working on signature campaign from btt form, which is the best online income for me. But this cannot be the only source of earning money so it is important to have a job or business as an alternative.
Without any doubt, income from signature campaigns is quite awesome and one could easily pay small bills or buy some items from their weekly earnings. If someone is living in a third world country then they can support their family with such income, however there are so many people in the crypto world who are earning way higher money than the ones in signature campaigns.

For this season, the meme coins have been best performers and there are many traders who earn quite good income by trading meme coins. I believe one should not invest his/her full energy in doing one thing, but split the energy to do multiple things to get best possible results.

Forum related / Re: OutBox In Altcointtalk?
« on: May 25, 2024, 11:57:50 PM »
Outbox is present on this forum as well but it's named as Sent items instead of outbox. Your messages don't get saved in outbox automatically, for that you'll have to select the option "Save a copy in my outbox" and then you may get your outbox messages saved there. If you have already selected that option during message sending then you can easily view outbox messages by clicking on sent items option.

When it comes to number of crypto users then without any doubt males are more in number as compare to females but we still can't ignore the fact that females are also playing their role as part of crypto community.

We know some of the females who have made great stuff for crypto community while a few of those still don't want to reveal their identity because they don't want others to know that how contributive they are. I believe females play important role in our lives as similarly they play important roles in crypto community as well.

Forum related / Re: Campaigns and Forums Traffic

The highest amount I earned from the signature campaigns was 0.15 per month, in 2019 it was about ~$1,600, and I sold it in 2021 at a price of 51k, so it was ~ $7,650 per month.
I believe in those times we could earn good income from signature campaigns even before the ban of mixers on Bitcointalk, some users were earning around $1000 per month from signature campaign but now, I don't think anyone is earning more than $500-$600 from signature campaigns per month even on Bitcointalk.

On this forum we used to have some good signature campaigns which have ended quite strangely. Who knows how things will turn in future, so far the only well performing campaign on this forum is that of Coinomize and a few others, I hope those will continue to be part of this forum for long term.

Signature has grown for me . The mine ended I am selling off all my gear.
I thought you will never sell your mining hardware but if signature campaigns are more effective for you then that's a good decision. Mining is surely not profitable anymore unless Bitcoin gain some value but as of now it's not that much profitable.

and also Lotto company seems to be hard to win the gambling battle because they are only promoting single game  than a regular casino that has many games to offer.
L0tt0.com isn't offering single game, at their casino we can find multiple games and all of those games are enjoyable for L0tt0 users. I believe that casino has huge potential of growth and the dev of that site is a very dedicated person.

SEC is now an enemy of the cryptocurrency industry instead of working with it as a good partner while at the same time fighting scammers and fraudster
Very true, SEC's recent actions against cryptocurrencies has been pretty aggressive but I believe their real intention may be something that we aren't understanding fully.

Sometimes I think SEC might be taking those actions to fight scammers, fraudsters, rug pullers, and all those people and services that might be honey pot to rug the money of the investors.

But, when I see their recent actions that disrupted the crypto world and has created fear in the minds of many crypto services and crypto investors and holders, I sometimes think that they're doing that willingly to stop the progress of crypto investors and crypto market.

With low pay rates, you can change all campaign participants every week, but you will still have poorly motivated or bad posters.
Yes, that's very true, low pay rates can allow a campaign manager to change participants and accept the ones who are happy to accept low pay rates but the ones who accept low pay rates will most probably have low level of motivation and they may also not be good level posters.

That's why I believe the pay rates shouldn't be decreased to the extent that good members would avoid being part of the campaigns which will ultimately decrease the number of good posters on forum and that's not a good thing at all.

It's quite good to hear that spot Ethereum ETFs are getting much attention and I believe the day isn't far when SEC will approve those ETFs. It took SEC a lot of time to approve Bitcoin ETF and that's why we should wait for it to approve ETH ETFs.

I mean we are remembering the day when someone bought a pizza with 10,000 BTC, if we remember events like this, it could inspire the trust in BTC
Many people remember that event and on Bitcointalk it's celebrated each year. It's one of the most impactful events about Bitcoin and it really reminds us that how far we have gone.

Bitcoin was literally very low in value in 2009-2010 and now the ones who own it are the richest ones.

Satoshi's invention and vision has changed this world a lot and we all should be thankful to him that he created Bitcoin.
