Learn from Elon's experience with wallets. Remember this "Not Your Keys, Not Your Coin"

Here's the story:

1. Freewallet locked a wallet that apparently belongs to Elon.
2. EM asked his wallet to be unlocked
3. FW immediately fixed the issue

In an attempt to save face, FW tweeted to Elon. He replied with "Your app sucks"

In addition, Elon also made a tweet implying wallets like FW should be avoided at all cost.

^ Much respect for what he did here.

Indeed. Not Your Keys, Not Your Coins.
No sovereignty over your property nor assets stored in FW.
FW should be avoided in all cost. However, I'm thinking weird now if the reason of wallet sucked was the wallet cannot contain Elon assets. It could possibly mean that the wallet capacity reached.

In addition, Elon is an example that everyone is vulnerable even he's a superstar and whale.

Good topic.

It doesn't work that way. It sucks because they can freeze your assets within the wallet whenever they want to. Their so called security system was probably triggered when Elon deposited huge amounts of coin and immediately locked it. It was most likely designed that any amount exceeding this or that is an auto lock. They will ask for KYC before they release it similar to a centralized exchange.
