Doge can't be separated from Elon Musk. If he considers to integrate a coin, meme coin should be one of the first choices. I'm not sure if Elon Musk plans to make a new coin, named coin X. First of all, is crypto so legal in the US, that it can be freely used for such kind payments? What about SEC that and politicians that used not to show love to crypto. X is a real power in the US, adding it to X will surely be complicated. Second reason, does X really needs crypto? It already has options for payment. Adding one more that will be an intermediary between fiat and customer? It sure will be more expensive to pay in crypto that in fiat (just my imho). If US remain there market goals, then I'm convinced that what we see with the future of crypto and X payment is blurred, nothing will likely happen because US is a strick place with crypto, they are still trying to figure out billions looted under the FTX management, it will be difficult to see X brings integrate crypto payment. I really don't think it matters much if it integrates one coin/token or another. The problem is the regulations that Musk (X) must comply with. Musk cannot integrate whatever he wants without being under the supervision of the SEC, and considering the current situation of Ripple, the SEC would be stricter than ever, since they know that Twitter's use of cryptocurrencies as payment for subscriptions Blue and other services would generate billions of dollars in profits. Something similar happened years ago when Tesla started accepting Doge, eventually it could only be used to purchase accessories.
