I am doubt if you can recover your capital by doing trading. Trading has also its own risk and difficulties, so there is no guarantee to gain profits there. But I appreciate with your decision to stay and change activities to trading business.

A bull market WILL happen, because cryptocurrencies are the new form of cash. Digital cash. As email, slowly replaced snail mail, as cars, replaced horseriding, the same will happen with cryptocurrencies. They will get more and more acceptance, and the prices will get higher.

Trading cryptocurrency on the exchange - it can always bring a good income, although it is this field of activity in cryptocurrency is very risky. Therefore, if you have the desire and experience, you can try.
If the market continues to stand still, I think that I will continue to participate in the ICO bounty campaigns, if the appropriate conditions allow and there is no such dominance of fraudulent ICO projects. The cryptocurrency market will still rise and grow. Need to give some time and do not panic.

If there is no bullrun in 2019 or even in 2020, I will consider to quit from activities on cryptocurrency but I still continue holding the existing coins on wallets. I am sure the bullrun will happen, it is the regular cycle on cyrpto market. The whales also plan to have a bullrun, the will get losses if there is no upcoming bullrun. In my opinion, the chance to have the bullrun almost 90%, while 10% may not happen because of many reasons.

I don't think that the bullrun will happen in this year if the market is still at this rate condition. If there is no bullrun in this year, just keep going on, we can still make some profits and hold for investment.

I think every investment  has risk.  So,  It is normal.  I personally believe It will rise again soon  and waiting.  Lets see

There's so much institutional money entering the space, I really can't see the bear run going on forever.

But, if it does... not much to do but cut your loses or wait longer.

well, I am sincerely hopping that sooner or later, the bull market will start... it can take as long as 1-2 years to come back, but I am waiting for it 
in the meantime, I'll try to do small trades in order to increase the coin amount, bear markets are good for that...

I think You can choose bounty campaign and wait.  But I personally always believe the bull run will happen.
