Why are you selling your altcoins so soon?

I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it's way to early to be selling your altcoins. It's like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

So tell me, why are you selling your altscoins so soon?

Actually, it depends on the goals of someone. Personally, I don't think to sell all my altcoins to buy bitcoins. Altcoins can make more profits and the prices are easy to go up, while bitcoin seems more stable. It makes quite hard waiting for its rising price. For all traders, I suggest to not sell your altcoins too early.

as for me, I sell my alt-coins only after that, when there is good growth, and I sell it very profitably, until this moment comes. I keep coins in my wallet, and I try to buy more coins in order to make more money, today I found a very promising project @ swachhcoin. The project will pay people for their trash. We all have our own goals, boundaries and plans. Some people can not afford to lose everything. It all depends on why you invested, where you invested and how much. Although it is almost certain that the market will see the up trend soon, unfortunately, this is not so certain for all altcoins.

I agree with @I-Bit. Don not spend all altcoins for buying bitcoin. Bitcoin is a good investment and the price quite stable but altcoins have more potential chance to gain higher profits. I have experienced in trading bitcoin and altcoins, both are good and profitable. However, when I analyze all profits I got from selling those coins, altcoins gave higher profits than bitcoin.

as far as i know i never do that and not sure what you mean by soon . i hold them and yea sometime i sell that and now the price 4x

I don't really pay attention to Bitcoin like your story. So I sell Altcoin because I want to get the maximum profit from trading in Altcoin. I am not so rushed in selling Altcoin. So when the coin goes up, I have to sell it at a high price.

personally, I will sell the coins that I have when the market price is stable and suitable. I will not hold it for a long time because I am afraid that it will take even longer for crypto prices to rise again. we must be smart to manage our crypto assets well.

people sell their altcoins there must be some reason, maybe they need money or maybe they just panic and immediately sell the coins before the price will go down, I won't sell my coins at a low price, so I'll keep holding

I think we are selling the altcoin because we see the price can increase and pass the price we bought so we can get the profit. But I think there is another reason for another people. Sometimes, people selling their altcoin because they need money to lives and not all people using free money to trading because I know some of my friends use the money which they need to buy their daily life. I was already told this to them but they still do the same and I cannot push them.

I will sell altcoin when I can get a lot of profit, if I have not gotten a profit then I will keep my assets because I will not sell at a cheap price.

You will not actually blame anyone for selling, it's been a difficult year for ICO loses and scam or pump and dump coins everywhere ,I believed that's why they are selling.

It depend on the quality of altcoins because some of them may not last in the exchanges or their value may not go up again for long time after they listed. The value of a newly listed coin usually go down temporarily but if it have a potential then it will bounce back soon. I'm still holding some of the coins that I recieved from the bounties because they are solid coins and I believe that their price may go up soon.

I'm not selling, but I wish I checked the ma50 and ma144 before, so I would have sold my bitcoins at 11k, ether at 800 dollars etc. and buy more when they're so much lower.
