Title: starting a new project investment for beginners

What advice do you have for beginners who want to invest?
I will literally advise beginners to avoid ICO even if it's really profitable when you hit the right but what are the odds of doing so?
It's literally small so many scam projects continue to fill the crypto space especially meme coins and we have seen how it all turns out. My advice is get the coin after it has been officially listed though you won't make gains like the others who successfully get them in their ICO but it's better to manage risk or simply invest in the most surest (Bitcoin) or some altcoin like Solana and Ethereum that offer some surety for gains. If you really want to invest in ICO consider it as gambling and invest what you afford to lost

I will always say it. As a beginners to makes, getting rich quick or earnings to be your first priority always takes your time before diving into anything. Because if you base on earning first you only end up making losses instead of profits but if you actually take your time to learn and gather knowledge about that particular thing you know how to manage it. So as a beginner if you want to invest on coins that are well known like Btc, ETH, and others maintain coins. Don't just jump into new coins with high volatility in order make quick profits and always DYOR (do your own research).

For beginners entering crypto investments, research is paramount. Focus on projects with transparent teams, solid use cases, and communities. Avoid unrealistic promises or overly hyped projects. Start with well-established cryptocurrencies, diversify your investments, and only risk what you can afford to lose. Continuous learning is key.

Do you think only knowledge is important?, Well even those with knowledge and experience still lose money to criminals and fraudulent projects. No crypto project has 'FAKE' written on it. Even with the knowledge, you also have to decide if it's something worth risking for. The risk must come in so as to make profit or loss, whichever it all turns out be. That's how the industry works.

Another important key to also note. Do not follow trend. I guess this is the area were fraudulent projects excel. They tend to promote their project so well knowing fully well that most people follow trends only.

OP, apart from having a lot of knowledge when investing in crypto, one should be able to learn how to carry out research by themselves on the projects they want to invest in because having crypto knowledge alone is no longer enough for one to use as a benchmark to invest in crypto. I said this, because, I have seen cases whereby an investor has the necessary knowledge they need to excel in crypto but they find themselves investing wrongly in altcoin projects based on hype given to those projects.

At the end of their investment, they feel pained and deceived by their investment that has gone wrong

Investing in a new project may not be a good decision for a new investor at the beginning of investment. In the new state, invest in coins that are more reliable and can be trusted more. The probability of success of new projects is very low and most of the projects are lost from the market by defrauding the money of investors, so if new investors invest in those coins and if they are cheated after investing, then they will have a bad idea about their investment in the beginning. A novice investor can invest in Bitcoin if he wants and try to learn about Bitcoin investment by investing a small amount and try to get a good idea about the investment. As he continues to learn about investing in bitcoins, he will have a better understanding of investing and will be able to make better investment decisions later on.

My only advice to beginners who really wanted to invest is to DYOR. Listen to others advice but don't immediately accept and apply, do a research and think well before you make a decision. The decision is yours.

Tips:
If you want for a low risk investment, choose Bitcoin and other high marketcap coins such as Solana, ETH and, XRP.
If you want for a high reward, then you can choose with a low marketcap coins.
The lower the volatility the lower the risk, the higher the volatility the higher the risk.
Low marketcap means higher volatility, high marketcap means lower volatility.

New projects that have such great potential are usually more of the layer 1 or layer 2 category projects. They usually have a large amount of funds that they have collected from large investors who support the project from behind. Usually potential projects like to hold testnets or airdrops to build their community initially and once their project is ready to launch then they will immediately list it on many large Cex.

But there are also many crypto token projects on various networks such as the BNB, ETH, Polygon and Sol networks which always appear non-stop. In fact, maybe almost every day a new project like that appears. They're having a presale or private sale or something like that. Some of these projects are progressing according to the roadmap but most are just made to be pumped and dumped. In fact, there are also projects that don't run at all after the presale is finished. I avoid such small projects and prefer to follow large projects which are usually also supported by large investors.

It is not a strange something in the cryptocurrency industry. Whenever the bull run is approaching or when the bull run is already in existence there used to be a lot of projects that floods the cryptocurrency. Many of these projects are scam projects, the only make use of the opportunity presented by the bull run to make wave in the industry and accomplish their aim and immediately exit the market. This is the more reason we need to be careful investing in the projects that kicked off immediately the bull started

Never put more money in an investment than you can afford to lose!

If there would be a way to find genuine projects, run by real experienced people, who have no plan of dumping the coin, to identify a projects that will get traction and have a positive response from the masses, that behind it is management team that has a way to avoid every risk, every failure, then let me tell you something, a guy with this capacity of doing research and predicting things won't waste his time with coins  ;)

Remember that 90% of all start-ups fail, it's not like there is some magic plan that will guarantee something succeeds, there are totally legit business, that have no incentive to scam, that are burning the founders money to keep running, who's members put everything in it and still fail, that's the reality, no way you're going to predict the future of a project by reading 4 pages of a whitepaper.

New project + investment + beginners. What could go wrong?

Now there are lots of new projects and they make promises to investors so that the project progresses, after the project progresses and the coins are sold until they reach the target, then the project party runs away and abandons its customers, causing harm to many people..

These are not any projects but scam schemes. Unfortunately, new projects are only for experienced people who will still find a way to recognize potential fraud. Everyone, especially beginners, shouldn't invest in something they don't understand, and it's a bit unclear to me why this is being ignored.

Before doing anything, learn first, when you learn about cryptocurrencies, you will have an understanding about them and know the differences between bitcoin, altcoins and shitcoins, make personal research as well after which you would have taken your time on that, afford to make only the investment you won't get offended on if it end on loss, know the risk involved as well as the benefits before anything.

What advice do you have for beginners who want to invest?
These are my pieces of advice to newbies, check their whitepaper and see if it is a copy-paste from other projects, fake projects cannot create their whitepaper and roadmap so they copy existing projects, so many projects have been exposed as fake for copying other projects whitepaper.
Check the team behind the project, so many scams and fake projects have fake profiles they extract images on the internet and make them their own, if you see anyone of these two, the projects may be scams.

If you plan to invest, it's better for you to know that you need to do your own research. You need to check the project, their goal, and the use of their plans before you invest. There is a lot of things you need to consider before you start your investment. If you are not sure about how to verify the important information, it would be better to invest only in existing altcoins in the market. Try to gain knowledge first and experience before investing in new projects to avoid losing more money.

What advice do you have for beginners who want to invest?
Never invest in a new project because of the hype given by crypto influencers, don't trust projects that promise big returns of profits within a short time because they will surely end up being scams. Invest in a new project that has a small circulating supply, good utility, and profound owners with a real identity. And lastly, invest in a new project because you have done your research on them and you are investing with your spare money.

It's very difficult to really assessed the project itself, sometimes even the team looks solid, but after a few months they all gone and exit scam. That's why in the beginning, if we are going to invest then assume that it can literally go to zero as there are risk involved here.

Maybe you can start small, yes, but the profit margin is also going to be small.

So for me, I'm not going to take that risk, I will rather go with solid projects already. It might be better this way, at least you can sleep better at night and not thinking that the project will not run away with your money.

Watch out for new projects that make a lot of promises but their fundamentals are not good enough and only carry out excessive promotional processes to create hype. If it's for newbies, it would be better to stay away from such projects, no matter how big the promises they offer to beginners. Because basically all developers definitely have the main goal, namely to make a profit no matter what and this mostly happens by using various methods so that their projects sell a lot in sales. because it is very unfortunate that there are so many individuals who take advantage of beginners to become targets for their projects which could be scam projects or fake projects that only end in rugpull.

That's why it's best for beginners to learn to analyze first and if you really want to invest, it would be better if you just do it in Top Coins. Where usually they or these coins already have a high market cup and are already solid on exchanges.

My only advice would be not to rush and do anything that will cause you regret, many people easily get carried away by story of how something has been beneficial to another person and some of these new projects that's their official motor "brainwash" them with fallacies, the crypto space is filled with lots of developer and tech guys who are blatantly trying to imitate the success Bitcoin and as so has created so many fake coins to actually test it out and some of these projects involves you and I testing it out and if it doesn't or when it doesn't work out you tend to be on the losing side.

Some of these projects you can identify because of the numerous promises and you would too well that's too good to be true. When the project promise too much limit every participation with them and readjuste before you get too much involved because that's the start of everything.

What advice do you have for beginners who want to invest?
As a newbie, don't be in haste to invest in newly launched projects because of the lack of exposure to what you should know beforehand before investing in a new project.

Invest in projects that have lasted more than a year or so in the crypto space and check their price history to know how far they have survived the bearish market.

Another point is don't be moved by online promoters of a new project because they are just paid to sugarcoat a project. If you invest because of that, you are taking a big risk for which only you will be accountable for your losses, not them

If you are a new investor or newcomer to cryptocurrency investment, my advice is:
Avoid new projects.

- In this case, avoid tokens or coins that come from new projects, especially those that do not have a strong team and fundamentals.
- Avoid investing in coins or tokens that have just experienced hype, most of them will fail and will not meet their ATH price again in the future.
- Invest in Bitcoin, if you want to invest in altcoins, only do it in top coins that already have fundamentals, use cases and high market cap.
- Be careful of various scams and the possibility of rugpull to avoid a much greater risk of loss

As a newbie investor your first duty is to acquire proper knowledge about investing. You don't jump into investing early on. Being in a hurry can cause you to suffer big financial losses. So I would say as a new investor get detailed knowledge about different coins and try to know how you can get big profit from it if you invest some time. Also if you have a good investor around you you can invest if you want. You may suffer from this in the beginning though. But I will say give time to this subject and you will definitely succeed.

This seems easy enough, but it turns out the facts are actually different. Because indeed, doing analysis or research on a new project is not that easy. Because however, the position or type of crypto project varies greatly. And it seems that it is not recommended for beginners to do things with high risks, for example investing in new projects, shit coins, memes, hype, coins and other such considerations. But what's wrong is that even for beginners, we often dream of getting high profits while the reality is quite different.

As long as the regulations for the sale of new tokens are still very limited and unclear, everything that is done to purchase new tokens released for fundraising is risky, you will still have the potential to fall into their trap even though in writing they are very confident that they will not commit fraudulent acts.

Some people may consider everything to ensure their funds are in safe hands, but the end result may be unexpected. There are times when a new project does have high risks, because the potential profits are also high if it succeeds according to the roadmap.

Yes, and even if we take all the time to research and review any upcoming projects that we want to invest, sometime it is still a hit or miss for crypto investors. So very difficult for newbies, maybe they will go and give it a try to hype but the risk is very hard. Better be just start very slow and learn the tricks. And if you invest onto something and it didn't succeed, then take that as a learning experience and never give up your dreams that once day you will become a crypto millionaire.

The most important thing is not to rush into making decisions before entering into a new project. Capital and mental readiness are important. But another thing that is more important is in-depth analysis such as fundamental analysis which is very necessary to see whether a new project has good potential based on the fundamentals they have or not. If we understand this, we can minimize the risks involved in new projects.

Newbie investors these days make this mistake very often and then when they lose money because of their mistakes, they start blaming the market for it. If you conduct a survey, you will find a lot of people who invested in cryptocurrencies and then left the industry because of the losses incurred and they don't take the blame themselves but they either blame the market or the cryptocurrencies they had invested in.

And, if you ask them, all of them would be investors of new cryptocurrencies which caused them losses in the initial stage. So it's important for newbies to make sure that they are investing in projects that are trusted and worthy of investments and shouldn't invest their money in useless coins and tokens.

Do not invest in new projects, most of them are not useful or is either a scam. Newbies that invest in new projects do not last long in the network, because when they lose a lot of money in the beginning, they call it a scam and abandon the network. It is better for newbies to buy BTC, it is safer for them and it is useful, so if they are in for the long term, chances are very high that they will make good returns.

I don't like investing in projects whose developers are anonymous or hiding in avatars, we need to know their capability as developers, and if we know these people we can research their backgrounds so I advise newbies to do the same.

The second is to check if the platform has usability, many projects that go dead are pump-and-dump projects with nothing to offer to the industry.
So check the people on board and check the usability if these two are present then it's good.

As an investor myself, I am always looking for something that can give me the highest rate of ROI and one of the big reasons why cryptocurrency seems to be the most exciting investment vehicle is that this is one of the very few where you can literally find projects that can do x10 or even more than x100 in the market. However, with that kind of high potential, the industry is also sadly riddled with scams and frauds hence it would not so that easy to vet, analyze and decide on which of the new projects will really make it. This is surely an industry where the saying "big risks big rewards" can be so true. Now, with that in mind, one must be careful and must laser focus on projects that will soon be a part of the CMC list and can be valuable in no time at all. One criteria is if it is being supported by reputable platforms in the crypto industry...and they are usually announced to the public as endorsement and support can be a big thing for others to also follow suit. Still, one must do due diligence and must be careful and weight things before arriving at a decision to open up one's wallet or invest time to promote the project.

But with a note that you have to use quite a lot of money to invest in Bitcoin, in order to get a big profit.
If only a small amount of funds is used, it will only give a little profit as well.

Getting into a new project is optional, do your research and get in early and then get out early.
Profits are instant, but it also has a high risk of loss.
So anyone willing to invest in a new project does a detailed analysis to find out what the project will do and who is behind the project.

Honestly, your thread's subject is saying a totally different thing from what the main post is saying.
But yes, Beginners should first conduct an extensive research about a project before diving it, not all that glitters is gold and not all projects that promise a very high ROI is authentic. Before getting involved in any project, be sure about the authenticity of the project or you may just end up feeding another hungry scammer.
