Bitcoin's notorious volatility means it is expected to continue to shift unpredictably with wild drops and subsequent recoveries seeming to become a never-ending cycle of highs and lows. This is the very reason why most people were afraid to invest in bitcoin. But amidst of all this, many still believe that bitcoin will regain its sky-high prices this year.

Its because of the bitcoin price for now, and they think it continues to going down so that they are affraid to invest in bitcoin but it will never be happen bitcoins price will rising up again but we cant predict how much And when.

I think it is because of the negative feedback of bitcoin in media like headlines that it is a scam. Also, the lack of knowledge on their part.

Well, bitcoin is very volatile and too risky to invest. Therefore, there are a lot of people who are afraid to invest because of thinking about they might loose their money that they invest on it. And also they are affected of the FUD or the fake news that keep on spreading on.

Yes, so far bitcoin now very well know all over the world. One factor that bitcoin embraces the people because of being very promising coins and now it is trusted coin to all that's why many people accept bitcoin to their place.

One of the reason is they din't have no idea if they investment was secure or in a goodhand. As of the news now many people use bitcoin to scam so the investor was scared to invest.

Most of the time people afraid of losing. Losing is not the gladness that investors and people wants to happen it is the very reason of killing self confidence and the possible good future. When you lose your investment specially bitcoin, it won't be back anymore. That is why some people doesn't want to enter the perimeter of bitcoin investment they are not risk taker.

Some are weak. Some are strong enough but no courage to do new things risky. Despite of being weak and strong I think the risky environment is the most they afraid of. Risky can take the money out or it come in to the wallet naturally.

Most people are afraid of the unknown. These people don't understand how Bitcoin operates. All they've ever experienced are the FUDs spread in them by the governments.

I believe because bitcoin is unregulated and most prominent government of the world reject the idea of bitcoin and it anonymity.

Ofc cause of the market volatility during the last months...even while it looks like this is going to be a problem of the past. Those who jumped onto the band-waggon late 2017 have burnt their fingers and are a bit scared even if they are holding onto their coins. If i would own more BTC...still at this point...i would also keep on them cause the big fall was over. ;) Like all goldrushes, there are a lot of winners and ...not-yet-winners. Still, i assume it is going to play out and normalize itself on the long run.

Money isn't easy to earn. Sometimes blood and sweat to offer before getting money. By putting it to investment in digital currency is like punching the moon. Once in a life time to hit, sometimes no chance to hit. The none secure of investing is what they afraid of.

Yes ! These are some of the reasons why some are afraid to invest in bitcoin.
1.Hacking risk. On December 19, 2017, a South Korean cryptocurrency exchange said it would file for bankruptcy after it was hacked for the second time that year. Over $70m worth of bitcoins has reportedly been lost by several cryptocurrency exchanges and miners, highlighting concerns about the security of such currencies.
2.Hard fork" splits. Since the value of and support for the currency depend entirely on the community using it, disagreement between the stakeholders may result in the splitting of the network to support new competing cryptocurrencies, this is known as a "hard fork".
For example, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is a hard fork from the original Bitcoin. Effectively, BCH is now a different cryptocurrency from the original bitcoin, inviting stakeholders to sell their "old" bitcoins and invest in this new one.

I think people afraid of self negativeness. They don't want to face the reality that risky life is the shadow of real life how much more in virtual currency. To be risk taker is not their attitude.

If i have a lot of money i do not afraid investing on bitcoin,because bitcoin has a potential and assurance to pump his price highly because bitcoin is carrying the altcoins demand into the marketplace.

In my idea it all because of self destruction of unsecured future in crypto money cycle. Some aren't assured of putting money in digital currency and think it is like craziness. My whole point is lock of courage.

Absolutely true, but people are also afraid that Bitcoin is a bubble that can burst at any moment and they lose their money. Moreover, the mass media constantly disseminate untrue information about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in order to blacken it and reduce interest in investing in cryptocurrency.

Not having enough ideas about how to manage the family and deal crypto currency. In addition maybe we can say not having enough budget. The reason why they did not invest is not always afraid but no budget.

There are many reasons why people are afraid to invest in Bitcoin, but mostly fear arises from the lack of sufficient knowledge about Bitcoin and the technology of blockchain on which it is based. Because those people who know what Bitcoin is have significantly less fear to invest money in it. But I'm sure that with time more and more people will get knowledge and understanding of Bitcoin.

I think there are number of reasons to that.
1. People have become so lazy that we accept second hand information without bothering to do further research to validate the information we here. There are a number of negative comments about Btc from the media and so even think k Btc will die abruptly.
2. Some features of Btc such as volatility and somehow difficulties or complex process involved in converting into fiat account for some of such behaviours.

The difference between unsuccessful people and successful people is usually the fact that successful individuals take more risks and opportunities when they present themselves. Most people are afraid to take risks, afraid to do new things and thus close themselves off to possibilities of the future. Bitcoin is no different, it's a new thing to most people and it's a bit difficult to understand which doesn't help it's case. But it is an opportunity first and foremost, most people fear what they might lose, and not what they may gain in the process. Even if in the process they lose everything, that experience is something to gain as well. Everything matters and crafts the individual, failures often matter more than successes because you learn more about yourself and the world. I believe all this ties together with why people don't want to invest.

There are a lot of people afraid to invest in bitcoin, a lot and unpredictable reasons of people why they are afraid to take this kind of venture even though there is a great chance to earn. Others might think that, what if this is only a scam, how about the assurance of their money and what if they fail and what if they will regret their decision soon because they made the wrong choice. There are few reasons why, maybe there are people who really not know how to deal their coin on crypto currencies. The other resons is they invest thier money on a risky way due to unstable conditins of each coin on bitcoins. Scam maybe the other reason, or the untrusted transactions arises. Every coins we invest are risky or sme reasons, but still people are enjoying to trade on bitcoins.

Making it difficult for the new investors to believe in crypto currency and bitcoin. I think a positive news that will be broadcast to television makes people to invest in the cryptocurrenxy.
