Both are best investment in their own way, Litecoin or LTC is like a the baby of Bitcoin where use for payments. While Ethereum or ETH is a cryptocurrency that uses smart contracts , other name for it is ERC20 where many token now is base on it.

Actually for me Litecoin and Ethereum are both good investment they have a great potential great platforms and have a future.
I investing that both 20% of ethereum and 20% of litecoin.

Early this year, the founder of LTC, Charlie Lee tweeted that there is “One huge unexpected surprise” coming in 2018. We do not know what this surprise is yet, but we don’t think he would have tweeted this if there wasn’t something exciting about to happen! But the founder of Ethereum are not also going to sit idle. LTC can never overtake ETH. LTC has a great future though but to stipulate it will overcome ETH, is a no go zone area.

I guess litecoin will grow rapidly next year. This coin is potential and possible to go up to the moon like ethereum from cheap coin to one of the dominant coin all over the alts.

Litecoin and Ethereum are in two different field in crypto world. Litecoin was made mainly as a payment solution while Ethereum is mainly used as gas for the transactions of it's tokens under its smart contract. I always like both, ethereum and litecoin. I see both are very potential coin and will have promising future. So, I will chose litecoin for long term investment aand use ethereum for short term. I think It is good way to do now.

I think this is looking not an easy to overtake Etherium , because Etherium is one of most tradable coin on exchanges and having a good coinmarketcap value also .
For overtake Etherium litecoin needs a big investers.

LTC and ethereum both are popular cryptocurrencies in cryptomarket both currencies are doing better in cryptomarket both has strong technologies although ethereum is most potential altcoin than other altcoins so this coin is stay in second position ethereum has many future so in future ethereum will remain in top altcoin LTC will not defeat ethereum.

I agree mate, I think litecoin cannot overtake ethereum. Ethereum is really so popular and many tokens has integrated to ethereum.
It is smart contract platform and very popular in ICO project.
I have used ethereum for two years since 2018. It is good for short term, I have gotten alot profits from this coin.
Maybe other member have opinion about ethereum advantages.
Because I only newbie at crypto currency world.

This isn't possible , becuase Etherium is widely used coin as compared to litecoin , Etherium have high coinmarketcap value . This is true that litecoin holder receive a good profit after some time .
But litecoin never overtake Etherium .
