I have never transacted with IOTA, let alone use IOTA.
I've also never traded with IOTA, so I don't know how IOTA works. Sorry Mate !

In simple terms, IOTA means, Internet of things applications. IOTA allows smart transactions between machines on the Internet of Things. It uses a brilliant technology called the "tangle". IOTA is an acronym of Internet of Things, which is a distributed ledger, made to record and execute transactions between machine in the Internet of Things ecosystem. The IOTA platform uses Distributed Acyclic Graph (DAG) instead of blockchain. The technology behind IOTA is called the Tangle. IOTA aims at resolving the blocks of transactions that has to que up before confirmation, i.e there is no charge for transaction fees. IOTA has a coin called mIOTA.
