It came to our attention some tokens /coins have a similar name to ours: spartan coin, 300 coin, etc ...
in the majority it is probably the case of choosing a strong symbol,for 1 it is a case of deceptive attempt to take advantage of our marketing.
The reason we chose the name SPARTA for our token is due to the 3 year old incubator the founders launched, way before the advent of blockchain, and the incubator contain the name sparta.
SPARTA is only available currently on the following exchanges : EtherDelta, ForkDelta & Tokenstore

Another project decided to use the same name for their coin / token as ours, they even decided to use the capital letters like we do, and they launched their project after we launched our forum, which is a clear attempt to capitalize on our marketing.
Thus be warned to only trade SPARTA on the exchanges we list on our site.

Thank you for the heads up on this. Good to know for sure with the number of scams in the crypto world increasing tenfold since last year.
I looked at each of the exchanges listed on the website, which seem to all still have active ETH-SPARTA listings. I guess it is the nature by which the token is used that it isn't trading often. The last trades I located were on 29 June of this year, and the ones just prior to that were approximately 17 days earlier, so there are long gaps of no activity with this market pair and/or it is sporadic.

Thanks for the warning. Anyway, I know SPARTA does not have ICO, how will it get a price? Can someone link me the thread all the things I need to know for SPARTA? I have so many questions in my mind and I would like to find out the answers. Like the benefit of holding SPARTA.

price wise, it's a matter of supply and demand, but on those sites, you can use it for 1$ equivalent in most cases

I saw more and more users are having Sparta under their usernames, looking for some info on how to become or to avail this membership? Can anyone send me some link explanation about what Sparta is and hot to be one of you?
