Heard a rumor that facebook was thinking about launching their own crypto. What do you guys think about this?
Would also love your feedback on Algebraix. App that keeps your data private and pays you to watch ads. how do you think they will measure up to the advertising giants like facebook and google?

Is that true? I don't read about the article or news yet regarding this information. FB is a great partner for ICO and crypto to promote. But FB also sometimes banned the illegal ICO or spammers or scams indicated ICO. Now, if the Fb creates its own crypto, hopefully, they still allow the other legit ICO or coins promotion in FB.

Especially that competition is on their heals howdo appics to name few so most certainly if fb would like to introduce their own currency I would expect to be able to do shoping on fb with it well we will see how it goes

You got a point unless, they'll require payments when posting or sharing other crypto ads inside the specific social media. Not to mention it has its other sites too like instagram, they'll surely monetize other crypto post in it. Just my two cents tho.

This news is already been heard few months ago and I really like the idea that facebook would do that because of its wide community that will surely bring an early success of their ico. I believe that this thing is also the most awaited project of many investors.

If this will happen i think this will be a great success because facebook is very known world wide and almost all people are using this apps.

Normally I would say the obvious is for them to create their own but I'm maybe not so sure with facebook.. it would most likely be an established token imo... something like Stellar or bitcoin.. guess it depends on what type of implementation they'd like to implement but it may be safer in this instance to pick something already established with plenty of code started.

Same here. I am in doubt if Facebook would make their own cryptocurrency.
Maybe a partnership with other crypto or support to other crypto. But creating one is just not worth the effect (I guess) for this multimillionaire company.

If facebook will launch their own ICOs I think this will become successful because facebook is very popular world wide and for sure a lots of investors are coming to invest.

yeah it just rumor, until now noting annoucement about create crypto. If facebook make own crypto it will no bounty, because Facebook will be make marketing and advertising him self.

I think this is good news if Facebook will also create crypto coins. If this is the case, I am sure that the crypto market will become more and more familiar, by many people. And of course the value of the old coin will be raised even higher.

I haven't heard it yet if Facebook makes crypto coins itself, it would be better to introduce crypto investment to the whole world. I hope this really happens.

This news came out in June and it has remained a rumor. No one can confirm the plans of Mark Zuckerberg's interests in running an ICO

If they create a crypto and provide to Facebook user, it'd be really good chance to make Facebook popular again. Also crypto currencies can approved by large mass.

There are some rumors about this topic. I think Facebook is a huge IT Company and of course there are sitting some very intelligent guys who working on this. But we dont know when they coming up with a own or a established crypto.
