Bitcoin holders are strictly anonymous unless the holder gives out his identity, you cannot tell an individual owning particular Bitcoin wallet. In countries where Bitcoin is strictly illegal, governments can only track a transaction Hash to a particular location but not a particular user.

I agree with you, though it is tough to hide identity nowadays. Is there any way to track our transaction by IP address?
What do you think?
-
Bitcoin holders do not disclose their identity so it will be very difficult to track a user of a specific wallet. What can be done is to know when the transaction took place.
-
s it possible for the government to track a Bitcoin holder?
I think the government will not track who has bitcoin or people who invest in bitcoin because people who participate in business investing in bitcoin there is nothing to harm the government and instead benefit the government
-
It is definitely possible. All transactions are public record and anyone can look at the ledger to see what transactions went where. Assuming the government can find out which wallet is yours, they can see everything that has come out of it and gone into it. If you're looking for privacy coins though, I recommend using Monero.

Как я слышал то сейчас биткойн можно легко отследить, есть монеты у которых нет этой особенностм

I think Crypto curency is very secure. Identify user cannt be tracked. I am not sure IP addres can be tracked.
-
It is not possible for the government to identify the Bitcoin holders because the holders are anonymous and cannot to traced unless they give out their identity.
-

It is impossible, because bitcoin is anonymous. I think It cannot be tracked.

I am not sure, The government can track a bitcoin holder. Because your identifynis secure in bitcoin. It is pseudo anonymous.

I think Bitcoin in anonymous, I am not sure The goverment can track bitcoin holder.
-
No because bitcoin is decentralized and no government can make it centralized in all sides of bitcoin. Maybe in the future if bitcoin system change to centralized.

I think It is impossible. Bitcoin is very secure, It is anonymous. Your ID cannot be track by government.
-
yes if their buy their coins on exchanger with kyc requirement, but if they buy it on otc i think it almost impossibbe for goverment to tracking
-
Government can do it if the owner of bitcoin is inhabited in the legal country with regards to bitcoin. Holding the copy of personal identity can easily trace the owner. But in the country that bitcoin is prohibited, everybody have the rights to keep quiet. Silence attitude can save us.
-
Bitcoin is not anonymous as people think it is. Bitcoin transactions can be traced to your server (computer). It is just that governments have a lot on their hand than to go about tracing bitcoin transactions. Thinking that bitcoin transactions cannot be traced to a particular owner is a misconception. The trial of Ross Ulbricht in 2014/2015 had already proved that.

I think It is difficult, because Bitcoin is pseudo anonymous , It is very secure. Your identity cannot be tracked by the government.
-
if in my opinion it is very difficult or impossible for the government to track who the people who hold bitcoin now gan. although they use bleckchain as their tracking device.
-
Bitcoin holders are anonymous and it will be difficult for the government to trace the owners. The government can only identify the account in which the transactions occur to but not the owner. Anonymity is a very important factor in Bitcoin transactions.
-
I heard about the current statement, everything is possible to say that bitcoin was invented by the government)
-
Yes they can, as long as they can track the gadget for the address of anonymous person that will not be hard for them.
-
In local exchange, governments can track Crypto's, but if you transfer them to overseas exchange or to any wallet, they won't be able to track them from that moment on. It's one of the things that scares governments, they dont have any control on cryptos and they can't tax them.

No chance government can track bitcoin holder, I agree with you that they cannot pinpoint the exact person who is bitxoin user. Bitcoin manage by keys no personal informations involved.
-
I do not know that, but maybe this will be hard to do. Bitcoin owners do not include identities in their Bitcoin purses, but if the Government knows our email address, it is not difficult for the government to track who we are.
-
What is impossible for the government to do that? All is possible. They are strong people who can do whatever they want, including knowing the owner of bitcoin. I'm sure it can, if the government works with great IT. They can solve who owns bitcoin.
-
bitcoin can never be tracked, because bitcoin work has been official, let alone trading on the trade market will certainly never be tracked, work in bitcoin is liked by the public, the therapy of bitcoin prices is now decreasing drastically
-
I think this cannot happen because it has its own nature of the bitcoin anonymous, which means it is not known who its owners because in it there is no concrete data that can be traced.
-
s it possible for the government to track a Bitcoin holder?
I think of the government will not track who has bitcoin or people who invest in bitcoin

You are right even the market apply KYC for the people who want make investment in cryptocurrencies, the government still can not track the bitcoin holders they can mix their bitcoin on bitcoin mixing service to make the bitcoin to be clear and anonymous, it is right of bitcoin holders and the government can not stop this activity.
-
I think the government takes a long time to track all the bitcoin users in their country.
because the government can only find his ip. not his identity ..
-
If bitcoin is legalized and every bitcoin owner is required to register with a government-owned recording agency, this means that the government can find out who owns bitcoin. But for now, I think that it is quite difficult for the government to track the Bitcoin holder. for, they are actually anonymous.
-
The government will not be able to track ownership of Bitcoin, or anyone who holds Bitcoin. Bitcoin is anonymous, because the Bitcoin owner does not include an identity in the Bitcoin Wallet, the government will find it difficult to trace it.
-
Bitcoin transactions are anonymous. As long as you don't reveal your identity, no one know you are a bitcoin holder.
For this purpose you have to buy bitcoin peer to peer from a person you trust. Never use exchanges that force you to verify your identity.
-
Bitcoin is not a fully anonymous coin. Therefore, governments can monitor the transaction of the owner of the wallet, until it illuminates with its identity on any exchanger. If the owner of the wallet will only keep his bitcoins or transactions between citizens, it is very difficult.
-
It is very difficult for the government to know the owner or holder of the Bitcoin coin in the Crypto world. So Crypto is very prone to money smuggling Corruption committed by politicians to secure their money and be free in transactions. I think the government must have its own solution regarding that.
