            Ether cryptocurrency to be capped? Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin has made an EIP (Ethereum Investment Proposal) to put a cap on Ethereum cryptocurrency. He suggests to cap it to 120,204,432 which is 2x the number of ethereum sold in its sale in 2014. Vitalik believes this move will bring the much required economic sustainability to the cryptocurrency. Ethereum is soon going to ditch the proof-of-work model and implement a sort of proof-of-stake algorithm called Casper. Do you guys think this is a wise move?

I think so. If this will succeed then both croed and the man behind will benefit.

For me, just for me, CyberMiles is our main Competitor, when they reached 1 300 tps in the last testnet while Ethereum rate is 10 tps, and all of ETH Dapps can run on CyberMiles blockchain.

I'm waiting for new technology from Vitalik Buterin and his team to play in this fight!

I will go for ethereum.

In terms of transaction per second CMT is better but CMT is still under development, so if they could pull it off then they may have a chance to compete with ethereum.

These are my concerns about CMT.
- High Supply (1bln and increases 8% due to POS)
- Privacy? (At the bottom of the table "Shared data services" Will these be public? Identity, credit history, reputation, financial statement)

I don't think there is a competition, it's a no-match situation. Ethereum is bigger than what they think and it is like a dinosaur versus a lizard, they need to make up their mind and improve their platform first before dreaming of a rivalry with ETH.

I don't know much about CMT but looking at the table presented, it is actually better than Ethereum but the only problem is CMT is still in development and if they could pull it off and with proper marketing CMT may be able to compete with Ethereum.

ETH is always the best because it has ERC-20 Token and the transaction is very fast not like other POW tokens and ETH is in Top 2.

Like I said I don't know much about CMT and I just based my opinion on the table that they had presented and from the reply of MrSpasybo that CyberMiles is the main competitor of Ethereum and that all ETH Dapps can run on CyberMiles blockchain.

I am also a user and a holder of Ethereum and I am not siding with CMT but I am just considering a possibility that it may be able to compete with Ethereum after some time. I agree with you that they haven't proven much yet and we just have to wait and see how CMT will turn out. Bitcoin and Ethereum are Dinosaurs which are hard to beat currently but Dinosaurs became extinct and Bitcoin and Ethereum may not be able to retain their place forever but I believe that the team behind Ethereum is not just watching but is currently working and improving it. Well for now we just have to watch and adapt to the changes of how things turn out.
