I think this has been a troubling thought in the minds of many people. Ethereum has come too far to die. Apparently, it was just born and about to evolve into something greater than what you've already witnessed. Don't let your emotions set in and sell your precious ETH for pizza or candies. Ethereum will rise again pretty soon

I do not think so. ETH has a lot of devotees and ICO projects also prioritize payment through ETH. I believe the ETH will break the $ 1000 price next year.

I think ETH will continue to do well, especially from switching to PoS!

Not for a long time, but in the end: yes. It will be surpassed by newer and better cryptocurrencies. Once those become more established, I believe ethereum will loose its value. But I'll give that development at least another 5 years. So benefit from current market prizes and buy to hold for middle.long term.

If you look back at 2014, many old crypto currencies in top 10 coin market cap has faded away.

ETH is going to it limit, now it's slow and unscalable.

But in next 2, may be 3 years. I think it still rises hard and overtake BTC at somepoint.

I am pretty sure that ETH won't die in the net years.
Now it's in a sort of "pause mode", it will rise again stronger than before .
