Will Ethereum do better than bitcoin this year??

Ethereum is one of the altcoins tipped to do better than bitcoin this year. However, studying the market trend,  it could be seen that all altcoins, Ethereum inclusive, values are influenced by bitcoin value such that as bitcoin falls, they all fall. The question now is, do you still think Ethereum will do better than bitcoin this year??

For me, as a very old in crypto I will say it can't because bitcoin is more popular than ethereum. Bitcoin will be more popular now because it was advertisen in televisions in the whole world.

It is already obvious from your points that Bitcoin influence the entire altcoins in the market today and looking at price trends, it is not likely that ETH will be close to bitcoin this year, and not even next year. This thoughts can only be possible if ETH or other altcoins will do without being influence by Bitcoin.

Honestly, I don't want to site good performance this year for only ethereum coz, as a matter of fact ethereum is not independent of its price movement. No matter how good the performance of ethereum if bitcoin price is on the crash, still ethereum can't fly to rise it's value. Yes, ethereum will do better things this year but still the price momentum holds by bitcoin.

Well check CMC and you will no whether ethereum will do better than bitcoins this year but i doubt ETH will even reach 1k not to think of doing better than bitcoin.

You said it already so I doubt that Ethereum can go beyond bitcoin performance on this year but let's see.

Whether ethereum will do better than bitcoin is just speculating. But everything is possible in the world of cryptocurrency. But one thing is that ethereum is more affected by bitcoin than bitcoin is affected by ethereum. But it is not always the case that bitcoin price affects the price of altcoins price. So I believe it is possible for ethereum to do better than bitcoin but not likely

for this year I think the etherium hasn't been able to give or to go beyond the achievement exceeded the bitcoin. We know both are equally stable. bitcoin is strong enough to defend itself and etherium also growing, but to go beyond or liken the position I think it took longer.

Ehereum is doing great offlate trying to wear off the dominancy and supremacy of bitcoin which is great news by the way but i don't see it ever doing better than bitcoin. Bitcoin will rise with a high peak in the next of months to come and ethereum would only be in its shadows as it has always been.

I think no. Since ethereum is always affected by the bitcoin price so the success of eth is always dependent with bitcoin situation.

Ethereum will do what it can do that not beyond its limitations for ethereum is limited. To perform the expectations of people's trust is one big challenge of ethereum. By that ethereum is expected to do better but I can't say better than bitcoin for both have differences.

In my own opinion I don't think this things matters to an investor that invest to both of this cryptos because whether eth can do better or not still profit is sure and secure.

Yes, many investors are eyeing ETH, affordable prices and incredible price increases are making people interested in ETH.
It can be said this year is the year of ETH, the blockchain system owned is not inferior to the blockchain system of bitcoin .

I think that can be really because if viewed from the market eth price is much more stable than bitcoin prices.
rising and falling eth value can still be estimated so that it still gets a profit even though the price drops.

Most probably ethereum will do better this year and next years however We can not say that it will do better than bitcoin. Ethereum rising like a king that looks like it is unstoppable with bitcoin. Pretty sure it will do better things this year.

I don't think ethereum has the potential to do better than bitcoin honestly.  I think it can close but never overtake it, at least not for 5 years or so anyways.
