Will Ethereum do better than bitcoin this year??

I don't think so. For the mere fact that bitcoin has gone down quite a bit does not mean that ethereum can overtake bitcoin. bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies, it has the highest coin market cap and also a very high volume. 'Almost everybody in this forum would love to get hold of bitcoin and not ethereum if given the choice to choose  between the two.

With Bitcoin currently controlling the market, I think it'll be difficult for ETH to overtake BTC. The Bitcoin dominance is more than 40% and so it shall take a very long time

If this year I do not really believe that the etherium will rival bitcoin because with the circulation of bad news about the world of cryptocurrency making the majority of coins drastically reduced and making traders relatively panicky.

I agree! In fact, we couldn't change the fact that bitcoin is the mainstream in crypto. Unstoppable dominance even ethereum won't defeated bitcoin now and even in the future.

I think Bitcoin is still the best, Bitcoin is more valuable and more popular. But Ethereum is doung better on market now.
