Greetings to everyone am new here, please can someone briefly explain to me what KARMA is all about and how I can earn it? I wouldn't mind if you can tell me more on how I will excel in this Altcoinstalk forum it will be my pleasure to learn. Thanks for your understanding and motivation.

Karma is just a way of appreciating the efforts of the forum members who are actively helping others and for sharing valuable information. Karma is awarded by Senior Members and above. These high ranking members will be able to see a thank/punish button below the members profile name. So if they think that the post made was helpful, they might thank you (+karma) for your contribution. If they feel that the post is violating forum rules, they'll punish (-Karma)
So, what's the importance? If a member is having lots of +karma points, then it shows that he is a great contributor to the forum and the opposite for the - Karma. Such contributors are rewarded more during revenue sharing

Karma is very important because this is one of requirement to accept in bounty campaign example if you have negative karma you can't participate bounty.

Karma is the reputation one earns on the forum by providing high quality posts and offering technical assistance to forum members. If you have negative karma, you may be exempted from participating in some bounties

karma is a reward you get by doing some helpful post to the forum as this is the same as merits.

There are two types of karma positive and negative,positive karma is given to users who are valuable topics and reply while negative is given to those who are off topic answering with pointless.

The forum giving negative karma and positive karma. Karma its a way of appreciating a member who is active in posting a quality information that can help a member to understand this crypto world, in every post that very helpful to the crypto world, they are giving a positive Karma. If the post criticize the forum and always pulling down to destroy the image of the forum they give negative karma, that means you are a violator.

Karma can be used to exchange our points for coins. At a minimum to exchange points, we must have at least 10 karma. That's why you have to make really good posts to get positive karma.

What I understand about karma is that it is a kind of reward or appreciation and punishment depends on how you behave of being in here as a member.

One importance of karma is making the active members of this forum to post meaningful information that will benefit the others and eliminate the spam post. Better to have this kind of reward/punishment system to make the forum organize.
