Concerned about the ETH currency.?

I just noticed everytime I visit the market and when it is moving upward,The ETH lags behind bitcoin.
And when the price drops, The ETH drops a lot than BTC ...

Could this issue related to?:
- The number of circulation
- The releasing of the cryptocurrency : As the Ethereum is more commendable to distribute due to ICOs
- Or is it a luck of willingness to hold ?

Is any one have a better idea on what going on?

The price rise in BTC and other crypto(ETH) currency is due to investment from the all over world. As other assets are under control by the government. Whereas Crypto is decentralised and not governed by any government.

Maybe ethereum has been focusing on big long term scalability upgrades, like Proof of Stake and sharding, thats why ethereum drops a lot than btc

BTC price decide the market sentiments. If BTC  go up sentiments become +ve and ETH with other coin go up.

This applies to other coins, when Bitcoin falls by 5-6%, you can see how all the other coins fall by 10-15%, and some even more. The same situation is with the price increase, Bitcoin is enough to rise by 2-3% and immediately the price of other coins increases by 6-8%. Therefore, I believe that Ethereum does not differ much from other coins in terms of growth and dependence on the price of Bitcoin.
