Karma user interface modification claim!!!

Hi guys and admin,
I want changes in karma user interface. There is a reason behind it..
Recently by mistake i have given negative karma to a member. It was slip of my mouse..
See, it can be happen to other also in future.
I just want to suggest that instead of thank and punish option, at first there should option of karma.
When people will click in karma then they will get the option of thanks and punish
I hope this one will be more user-friendly.
What is your opinion?

I think it can go either way.. there may be more ability for error with its current method, but the easier it is to reward karma, I think people will be more willing to use it.. I'm fine with leaving it or changing it, there's probably positives and negatives to both.

Mate, I don't have any problem with the karma system. It's really cool. But i am talking about it's interface. As you see
 [thank] [Punish] these two options are very close. There might be a chance of touch or click on these two options by mistake. So, I think if it has another window of alert message like [ Do you want to give Thank ] with yes or no option, it will be more user-friendly. And then there will be less chance of mistake.

Yeah, I agree there I think there could be a confirmation put in there, but at the same time karma doesn't run out right?  So is there any downside of using it either way?   I think an indicator would be useful as well showing that you've already thanked or punished them.  I don't think the forum does that yet, but I could just not know where to look.

I actually have no karma just yet but I totally understand that interface matters a lot. Adding confirmation prompts will help the user for any human error, such cases happen sometimes.

Yes, you are right mate. Let see what decision our admin take. It Might be difficult to change right now. But it will be good to prevent any upcoming error. or maybe there might have a good solution for this error.

Agree, almost did this same but luckily I misclicked totally and nothing happens. There should be more space between and pop up window with confirmation to click or something similar.

It has to be fixed somehow. Because in future Kama might be a useful tools.

This is good idea for all users, i think it's will be a proper thing to acctualy modify this kama section to even include double confirmation especially when it comes to clicking on nagative kama.
A misken click to negative kama may impart negatively to members and thiscould generates constant appeals. I think there should be an "undo" botton to reverse both positive and nagative any time it happens any members of the forum.

I guess after thinking about it, the confirmation isnt really that bad, I was worried maybe it would add to the tediousness of rewarding karma but its really not a big deal, and things like cell phones and tablets, I can see how a mistake would be easier made.

That is true, the user who received the bad karma will suffer the consequences of the accidental click. It is really best to add confirmation prompt.

Looking forward for this. Please add "undo" button, admin. In order to safe good member to be a victim of missclick on "thanks" and "punish" button.

Also please add "track karma feature, it can be more helpful to safe the member from "negative karma abuse".

Agree with Faulidin and other friends. These suggestions will solve too many issues. I became Sr. Member today and scare to give negatif karma to posts accidentally.
